I want to start this on a positive note. The food was good. But that's it.
This is not my 1st visit but probably my last. In the other visits there was alot of people there eating so I chalked up slow Unattentive service to being busy.. But let's tall about today..
Literally the only guests sitting at any table in the entire restaurant, when we walked in there was a woman that came in at the same time. She sat at the counter. And probably 15 min later a man walked in and sat at the counter as well. T.I.P.S To Insure Proper Service She did not get any. And here is why.. We came in sat down. As we came in we told the waitress our drink needs. One of us went to the bathroom while the other sat immediately (there was no other customers in the restaurant at any table) when I got back to the table my coffee was delivered. No menus. She walked away. After a few moments she noticed we didn't have any and she got us 1 menu (to share I guess) by the time the menu arrived I already finished 1 cup of coffee and would have loved a refill.. did not get that for a while (reason i order a water too)Before the 2nd person in my group could even see the menu she came up to take the order. Of course we we're not ready.. (still not coffee refill) he got his chance to see menu and she returned and took our order. She was pleasant but clueless (still no coffee) it took a reasonable amount of time to make the meal and she then delivered it (still no coffee - but finally noticed and went to get the refill.. we ate our meal the only time we had a interaction with her was for her to ask me if the bill was together or separate (something I would have personally asked at the beginning.. but that's not a big deal) shortly after she returned ro give the bill. Now that we are pretty much done eating. I'm not asking for a server to be a helicopter and hover. But coming from I have been a server for many many years. Attentiveness is important especially because of potential issues. The longer you make a person wait for a need the more upset they get. (Hinting back to the coffee) side note: there was never even 1 ice cube placed in my cup of water. We kinda assumed they must not have any cuz a cup of ice was not offered for the can of soda that was ordered as well.

Read moreSo had some time before work decided to grab breakfast. Wasn’t even planing on going here but saw it and decided let me try this place. Since I enjoy small family places. Was going to order online and pick it up. Sadly. It had a service charge attached to it. So just because I was determined to give them a chance. I went there in person to order. When I got there. Place had several tables filled with couples and families so I was like ok that’s a good sign people come here. A lot were already eating so I was like perfect. Shouldn’t take too long from the kitchen. I get to the register where there is lady and gentleman behind the counter. But just a few feet away. I wait to be acknowledged take my time to look at the menu. Still the lady doesn’t approach me she goes to a table I said ok no worries the guy is there. But then he is watching the news and never comes over as well he also walks away. So im looking around have several servers standing around on the other side. One behind a counter in the corner who sees me and im just waiting patiently. A server comes over straight over to me gets something from behind the counter and walks away. Still no one has said anything to me yet. Another gentleman who was there before me makes a joke saying we might get lunch before we get breakfast. Which I agreed finally a server who went to get ice says will be right with you sir so I wait a few more minutes. Still nothing. I was willing. To give this place a try and to wait 5-10 minutes just for someone to come over and assist you is far too long and it wasn’t even that busy I looked the kitchen had 6 tickets only two that were long and a lot of the servers were just standing around and the gentleman by the bathroom door. Got to do better. Even if you can’t help right away still acknowledge they are there. I ended up taken my money elsewhere after that...
Read moreTo say I was disappointed is putting it lightly. I placed an online order for pickup (bacon egg and cheese bagel on a garlic bagel and country fried steak breakfast and a large coffee). Minutes after we placed the order, they called us to tell us they had no country fried steak and asked if we wanted something else, so we opted for steak. A few minutes later, they called us back to ask us what we wanted with the steak meal (they could’ve easily looked back at our original order to see what we previously ordered and add it to the new order). This wasted a ton of time right off the bat. When we arrived, they proceed to tell us that they didn’t have any garlic bagels for my bacon egg and cheese sandwich, so they just switched it for a plain bagel. They didn’t call to tell me or ask me what else i wanted, and I wouldn’t have chosen a plain bagel. She then told us that we’d have to pay more for the steak since they didn’t have country fried steak, which I understand but they should’ve told me this on the phone when they called too but we paid the difference. Then they forgot to give us the coffee and when we reminded her, she came back with a tiny cup of coffee. I asked the lady if that was a large and she said “yeah, what is this not big enough for you?” The attitude was unnecessary but we ignored it. When we got home to eat, the food was mediocre at best. No flavor, no seasoning, cold. Then while we were eating, they called me back to tell me that my order wasn’t paid in full (which it was as we placed the order online and paid online plus some extra when we went to pick up the order and had to pay the upcharge for the steak). At this point, I lost my patience and told the lady we were paid in full and the food was mediocre and service was horrible and she proceeded to hang up on me. HORRIBLE experience. Could not...
