If you're looking for a great dog park that has everything, look no further than this one! The park is divided into two sections, one for small dogs and one for bigger ones, so you can be sure your furry friend is safe and comfortable. One of the best features of this park is the off-leash hiking trail. This is a great way to get some exercise and fresh air, and your dog will love being able to run free. Additionally, there is a training course available, which is perfect for dogs who want to practice a little extra obedience training.

Another fantastic feature of this park is the river access. If your dog loves to swim, this is the perfect place to go. The river is clean and safe, and there's plenty of room for your dog to splash around and have fun. The park also offers water bowls and waste bags, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own.

Overall, this dog park is a great place to spend time with your furry friend. The facilities are top-notch, there's plenty of room to roam and play. Whether you're looking for a place to train your dog, go for a hike, or just relax by the river, this park has it all. Highly...

Bear Creek Dog Park is a fantastic spot for dog owners and their pets. The park covers 25 acres of diverse terrain, including open fields, gentle hills, and shaded wooded areas, making it a fun and stimulating environment for dogs to explore. The off-leash freedom is perfect for active dogs, and the creek that runs through the park is a major bonus, offering a refreshing spot for dogs to cool off in the summer.

The park is well-maintained, with clearly marked trails and plenty of seating for owners who want to relax while their dogs roam. There’s even a separate fenced area for smaller or more timid dogs, which is great for those who prefer a quieter play area. The overall atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with plenty of regulars who bring their dogs to enjoy the space.

Whether you’re looking for a place to let your dog burn off energy, or simply want to enjoy a peaceful walk in nature, Bear Creek Dog Park is definitely worth a visit. It’s one of the best spots for dog lovers in...

One of the best parks around the Springs. Plenty of room to walk away from others if you like, too. I wish there was more enforcement. It’s hard to enforce such a thing as people being responsible or following city ordinance with so many people and animals there. Look at how citizens treated mask enforcements and people were actually dying then. Feels hopeless when all you want is for people to pick up dog waste or keep positive control of their animals.

You’d have to track much more for that. So aside from the dogs leaving little bombs everywhere and their people just walking away or not keeping positive control of their animals if necessary, (verbally or otherwise), it’s a beautiful location. It’s as well maintained as you can expect even when citizens are irresponsibly trying very hard to make it less.

Colorado Springs should be proud of this local gem, and hopefully citizens work together more to maintain it...

Amazing "dog park" that is more like a giant walking and hiking area that's fenced in. Love the shaded woodsy area with a creek running the full length of the park. There is a small dog area and an agility area. Poop bags and trash cans readily handy. Great views when you hike uphill a bit. Benches to sit and rest. Clean bathrooms by the entrance. Dog water station by the entrance. I suggest you bring your own human water. I did witness some dogs get into fights, but the owners were quick to stop them. Overall the dogs and humans were well behaved... Though I did go on a weekday mid morning. My little 24 lb basenji had a great time! We spent almost 2 hours there.

Best dog park in town. They’ve got poop bags and trash cans in so many spots so you’re never slacking on picking up your dog’s poop or stuck carrying it for a long time. Both the small dog area and the large dog areas are big and offer river access. Huge area with busy spots and quiet spots so any type of DOG FRIENDLY dog will be happy here. My dog loves the river the most. I don’t recommend going here if the parking lot is super full (Sundays have seem cursed for me). I don’t recommend because people bring their aggressive dogs here, my dog has been aggressors at my several dogs here in Sundays.
