I went climbing at Garden of the Gods and used Front Range Climbing Co. and it was an AMAZING experience! I went with the full 6 hour option, and would absolutely recommend that would anyone debating between the 4 or 6 hour options. I was hesitant about it at first for a couple reasons: 1) I was worried about getting exhausted after climbing that long, and 2.) What if my guide was awful and I was stuck spending 6 hours with them. Turns out, 1) there's plenty of down time between routes to recover, so first concern wasn't a problem, and 2) My guide was fantastic, so no worries there.

Break down of my experience:

Booking Reservation: Very easy - everyone I spoke with was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Everything was taken care of over the phone. My guide called me the day before my reservation just to confirm I knew how to get there and go over details of what I could expect.

My guide: When booked my reservation, I told them I wanted to learn as much as possible, so I wanted someone who was good at coaching, and they paired me with the perfect guy. Name was Patrick, and he was super knowledgeable, very easy to get a long with, did an excellent job of explaining everything we did as we went along. I felt like he quickly adapted to my skill level - starting out simple and then introducing more challenging routes quickly. I felt like he picked the perfect routes and was a wealth of knowledge - introduced me to lead climbing, repelling, various belaying techniques, even shared some history of the park. I learned a ton and had the most amazing time.

To top it off, these guys were even the cheapest option when I was pricing it out, but it far from a "you get what you pay for" experience. They were top quality, and I'd highly recommend...

My husband and I have been members at an indoor rock climbing gym and decided to try outdoor rock climbing for the first time at Garden of the Gods! I first saw this opportunity on trip advisor and booked though them and they were terrible at confirming the booking or responding back to me. I ended up cancelling that reservation and booking right through front range climbing which was MUCH better! Was given a lot more information to prepare for the trip, responded timely to my inquiries, and called to touch base the day before our climb! Dan was our guide and he was amazing! We told him our experience with rock climbing and he tailored our climb to our level and abilities! We went a little over time with one of our climbs which had Dan concerned because we planned on doing the manitou incline that afternoon but we assured him that we were perfectly fine to skip the incline because rock climbing was way more fun!!! Even when I was nervous about a climb or stuck, Dan gave very good guidance and advice to help us achieve the climb! I would highly recommend booking a trip with Dan, we definitely will be booking another climbing trip with him in...

My wife and I took our four kids, age 8 to 16 to Colorado for summer vacation. We were looking for a memorable experience since it was our first major vacation since the start of the COVID epidemic. It seemed hard to think of things that would be great for our range of kids. We booked with Front Range Climbing for a 4 hour climb in the Garden of the Gods. Besides birthday parties at urban indoor climbing walls, we had never climbed. To say that our experience exceeded expectations would be an understatement. Joey and Nathan, our guides, were outstanding in all regards. They were patient with the kids, and provided a very challenging and fun experience. Both guides were professional, skilled at their craft, and encouraging. The venue (the Garden of the Gods) is an incredible place to visit, and with the climbing experience, we were able to access many places that we would never see without this experience. My wife's family has loved this place for several generations back, and it's wonderful to her and to me that our kids now have truly an experience of a lifetime mountain climbing in this...

Had an absolutely awesome time climbing in Garden of the Gods with Jameson. We did six routes in our half day trip. He was so great and made sure we were in the sun in the morning when it was colder. He also did a great job coaching us as it was our first time. Highly recommended!

From the moment we pulled up in the parking lot and met our guide, Justin, we knew this was going to be a 100/10 experience. My wife and I have been indoor climbing for a while, and wanted to see outdoor climbing done safely. As soon as we told Justin our goals he took us on our adventure. He put us on progressively more difficult routes, educated us on his equipment choices and anchors, and even put us on a mock rappel. He did a great job of balancing giving us beta vs letting us figure routes out on our own. At one point he looked at us and said "If this next route goes well, we'll go up a multipitch route" My wife and I exchanged nervous glances, but knew that with Justin serenading us to Queen's "Dont Stop Me Now" we could do it. Tip-Dont get off the airplane and head straight to this outing, take time to acclimate to altitude. I'm sure glad we did. Hey Justin! Stay psyched!-Adam and Katie
