Being your own food. They sell Costco microwaved burritos, and raw hamburger meat patties that you have to grill yourself. The shaved ice has very little syrup, but they were friendly when we asked for more. All the staff is friendly! The slides were recently painted, but nothing else on them was fixed (the slow water pressure that gets you stuck, the big bumps between each section, and deflated tubes). The tallest slide, Geronimo, is open. The hot water pool has a big cement sitting area in the middle that is under water and hard to see, hitting my leg on it was very painful! The showers only had cold water. The restroom was clean. They stamp the hand so you can go in and out of the pool area to the other little attractions (ee can leave and come back but the restaurants are not close to the park). The bumper rides are very hot, be careful not to burn your inner leg. The carousel seems to be permanently closed. They don't have a climbing wall like it was advertised on the website. The minigolf area is open. They have a water balloon game for 2+ people (I recommend trying to catch your opponents balloons to make the game more interactive). They have lockers for rent, and a little store with water baby diapers, swimsuits, water socks, fidgets. The price is a lot higher than last year, but the positive side to this is that the rides had shorter lines. They have a discount coupon on...
Read moreIf you are a parent or babysitter bringing kids to enjoy the water park, they will charge you full price ($45) for admission to sit on their park benches and supervise your kids. A scam and price gouging. Management is unprofessional and unkind. The park itself is ok, but the policy for parental supervision having to pay full price is criminal. Fair warning.
They posed the question of whether I would pay for a ticket to the movie theater with my kids. Of course I would because I would be paying for and enjoying a movie. In this case, I’m there to supervise only. Not even close to the same thing. I have managed golf Courses. If a parent takes their kids out for 9 holes and is not playing, doesn’t have clubs with them, and is just there for supervision and driving the cart, they’d pay a cart fee, but I would never even dream of charging them a greens fee. Because that would be wrong. I try to do the right thing, and you should too.
I was wearing obvious street clothes with zero plans of using the slides or water in any way. There needs to be some common sense and decency applied here. Especially for a local. A $5-$10 supervision charge would be acceptable, I suppose. But full price to...
Read moreWe had a great time as a family here. Employees were overall very friendly and helpful to us. It was nice to have a place to cool off while on our trip to Glacier. The facility could use a face lift, the kid pool was chipping all over and it just generally looks a bit rundown. It’s a bit spendy especially since the largest slide was closed, which was a bummer for my teens who wanted more thrill (the other slides are mild). The biggest critique I have is the lifeguards need to be more conscientious. In the first 15 minutes of being there, I’m not kidding, I saw 3 kids drowning in the kid area. Every time, us moms were saving them…and they were not our kids. I definitely think their parents should’ve been watching them, but why is the lifeguard there? Twice it was directly in front of her and she didn’t even flinch. I hate to complain, but it who’ll d probably be...
