We went during the Christmas light event. I definitely want to go back during the day... On a regular day... To see the park better. I saw a lot of cool architecture that is likely quite beautiful in the day. If you're going for the Christmas event you will likely experience a crazy long line to get to the actual park. It moves quickly so don't worry. If you feel the need to honk at a car that is going slowly thru the displays, enjoying the view, stay home. The guy behind us wasn't going that slow, think 4 car lengths behind us at most, and the guy behind him was honking and ruining the experience for everyone nearby. Chill, go to this to enjoy the view. Don't be a Grinch! 😊 End of my PSA lol We went with friends and their 3 year old. Everyone has a great time and wished it was a bit longer. Also, their was a Santa display that had him standing at a DJ table, a real Santa grinding out some music would have been epic. If you're driving thru and want to try a new experience look up Christmas Trap music... It goes unbelievably well with the dancing Santas, snowmen etc. You're welcome lol. I will post a review on the park itself after I go back to really see it in the light of day. It looks beautiful.

I went to the Capitol Jazz Festival. It was one of the best concerts and venues I have experienced. To name just a few. Kem, Babyface, Valerie Simpson, El Debarge, Jodeci, Will Downing and I was very surprised by Andra Day!. She is extremely talented as she told a wonderful story and was truly a lyricist that had people on their feet. It was a truly wonderful experience. And then there was a wonderful tribute to Marvin Gaye. The guitar player who was the Mc and the band were awesome for the tribute was awesome as well. Please do it again!. 🙏 Great job, Merriweather POST Pavillion.

One of Columbia's real gems, as well as what sets it apart from other central Maryland Communities, Symphony Woods is an excellent venue for all occasions. Having attended concerts, wine and food festivals, and holiday celebrations, I can attest to the versatility of this location. It is clean and accessible, with plenty of amenities fot attendees, and the proximity to the Columbia Town Center is also a huge boon. Negatives would include the bathrooms, with are horrible, and (for some) the earthy naturr of the venue, it does get pretty muddy in the rain.

On Christmas day, I was thankful that the crew at Symphony Woods Park opened and worked late night so people like myself, my family and friends could stop staring at each other faces and pretending to have a decent conversation in an over crowded house. The Christmas Lights were nice to look at, but several of the lights were not functional. We weren't able to listen to the music on the radio channel because the signal was horrible, so it was in and out in certain areas. I feel like they could've or should've slowed down the amount of drivers that pass through the park at one time so people could actually enjoy the scenery and also have a place for people to park to take pictures with or without the statues, etc. Regardless it was a short 20 min drive thru, but still a...

Wow, what a Christmas light show it was. Very organized, beautifully decorated, appealing to both adults and children; police on duty leading to the entrance of the grounds to direct heavy traffic. Representatives at the entrance pleasant, giving clear directions. The route to observe the course reminded me of a dirt bike obstacle course, adding to the enjoyment. A printed program was given showing schedule, sponsors, etc. A puzzle and a hunt for a special, unique light was also include to add excitement. Also, a promotion by Tmobile, possibly allowing you to win a $100 gift card. Lastly, you are allowed to tune your your radio toa specific fm band to listen to lovely, lively Christmas music. I enjoyed all the characters / themes presented....
