Our local bicycle club held an event at Old Mill Square, utilizing it as a start and stop for a hundred mile bike ride for approx 300 riders. My wife and I provided the post ride meal here so this review will be done from our point of view and not the actual event coordinators. We were allowed full access to the kitchen and facilities, including a warmer, fridge, and oven, as well as prep counters, sinks and prep cart to deliver food to serving area. We found the facility to be outstanding for this type of event! Site management checked with us during the morning ensuring all our needs were met and could not ask for better service. The site is very scenic with lots of historical statues, equipment from the original steel mill that operated here. Lots of seating, restrooms, easy access from Hwy 280. Location is spotless and is maintained very well, with a lot of artwork on display for sale. Then come on in 30 minutes before showtime and enjoy a complimentary beverage while parousing the refreshing Art Gallery. Everyone Always Feels...
Read moreMy daughter's dance recital has been here for the last few years. The building is very nice but the seating leaves a lot to be desired. The chairs are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Also, the seats are a little lower than the stage level so there are certain things that you can't see on the stage due to the seating. The restrooms were clean and stocked but the drink machines were not. There is about a 10 minute intermission which would be just enough time to go to the restroom and maybe get a soda ( Not enough time to go to a store). I feel the people in charge of this building could do better...
