Red Tree Tattoo Gallery — Attraction in Columbus

Highly, highly recommend. Currently in the process of finishing up a full sleeve thru Red Tree. All the artist do/have amazing work as you can tell just by looking thru their portfolios. Brandon Sontag is the specify artist creating my beautiful, one of a kind sleeve. I was blown away and amazed the first appointment I had with Brandon. I already have plenty of experience with different shops and artist, but Brandon was just different than I’ve experienced before, in the way he approached this project. The way he talked about placement, contrast, focal points etc. just amazed me. Thru the process he talked about this project literally as art and not just as a tattoo and quick money. It was clear that he was passionate about what he does. I knew, going into this, based on his work that I was in good hands. But after the first interaction I had with him, it solidified that I had made the right decision. Brandon didn’t just slap on a stencil and start coloring on my arm like a 5yr old with a new coloring book. He guided and educated me on how things would look the best at certain spots and areas. The only negative aspect I have had thus far.. I’m only a couple appointments away from wrapping up this project up and now I don’t know what I want him to do next. It’s a very bad feeling.

Red Tree is a beautiful building and very, very clean and comforting. I was visiting from out of town last week and got really lucky by getting in at Red Tree on short notice. KAM designed a beautiful peony for the side of my knee and tied it in with the other work on my leg. He was on time, professional, fair on price, and a pleasure to be around. He collaborated with other artists and myself to come up with a beautiful color palette. I now get to wear this incredible piece forever, and I'll definitely be back. The shop is beautiful, clean, and there is a perfect balance of privacy and a communal aspect between rooms which makes the experience that much better. Extremely clean shop, friendly and experienced staff, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Looking for a tattoo in Columbus, then look no further! On the trip from the shop back to my house (with a few stops in between) I have alrewdy received 6 compliments on my new tattoo and it's wrapped, so they couldn't even see just how good it really looks. A special shout out to Kam for taking my idea and bringing it to fruition in such a creative way.
