South Commons Softball Complex — Attraction in Columbus

Excellent concessions. I wish I would have gotten names. By field 5. The big guy. He was cheerful. Helpful. Tried his best to please people. The smaller lady. Same way. Food was excellent for a ball park. Fried fish. Hotdogs. Hamburgers. French fries. It was all exceptionally good for a ballpark. I was there three days. These two individuals were awesome. They ran a good concession. I’m from loganville, Ga. I’ll softball tournament here anytime.

Also. Fields were excellent. Trash cans stayed emptied. This was a well run softball tournament.

The only hiccup that I know of during this time. A man (parent) was run over by a workers runaway golf cart. The man is lucky to be alive. Golf cart (large one) ran over the top of him and pinned him to the ground. Paramedics had to treat the man. Broke both of his chairs. Busted him up pretty good. I talked with the man after it happened. The only thing the park did for him after was offer him a Dick’s $50 gift card. lol. His chairs that were busted up cost $75 each. Not even speaking of his medical...

I was there for my boyfriends softball game last night and when i get back to my car my window is busted out and some of my items had been taken ... When the cop arrived he went on telling us that he receives about 15 calls up there a day about break ins.. I was not the only one that it happened to last night either.. Another lady was across the parking lot with the same problem... The cop also said that they cant patrol up there because it is private property.. I will definitely NOT BE BACK until this is taken care of.. There should either be cameras or some type of security.. If these people know that they can get away with this kind of stuff, they are gonna keep doing it.. Now i am having to pay for a busted window because of some low life!!! it is a very nice park but people will eventually just stop coming once their cars have been hit...

The stadium was very nice on the first game. The protection of foul balls on all the other fields are dangerous. Yesterday the foul balls coming into the bleachers is a danger to all. I personally was hit in my face on a hard hit foul ball. I now have two swollen black eyes and forehead. I had been warned about this before going. When people are sitting with umbrellas over their heads it’s not just for sun protection but also from foul balls. Fence needs to be...
