Thompson Park — Attraction in Columbus

With mostly soccer fields surrounding a full basketball court, Thompson park is not a recreational center for the uncreative. The lone playground is small and age-restrictingly ornate. There are five tennis fields. Power lines run right through and above this park, near the walking trail. Not completely desolate of seating, there is a lone pavilion housing all the picnic tables and a few benches around the playground. It is not unusual to see children abandoning the large fields, opting-in to exploring the thick brush and wilderness that surrounds. Of the parks I have been to, this one is not one...

Nice park , it has an play area for kids in the entrance , it has an outdoor and indoor tennis court , it has an huge soccer field (summer it’s busy completely with kids practicing) and got an huge walk pathway across the whole park.. you can go through the park into preserve community and another neighbor community as well. Nice for jogging and walking..
