The Morning Ritual — Restaurant in Columbus

First time here and I was excited to try some of their drinks. There's a decent amount of parking outside and some seating inside. The cafe area is smaller at first glance, but they have a backside for work space, and their restaurant side is pretty big. The space is beautiful, decorated well, and welcoming and lively. It can get pretty loud because of the restaurant side. They also have a walk up window to order if you don't want to go inside.

From the cafe, I got the Salted Caramel Cuban and the Apple Cinnamon Roll. The Cuban was absolutely delicious, very sweet and creamy. I felt that it could have been a bit warmer, but overall good. The cinnamon roll was also good, it was flaky, warm, and soft. The prices of each item was a bit expensive but the drink and roll was pretty good. I also ordered a side of fries from the restaurant and it came out pretty quickly and you get a good amount of fries. The fries were good, crispy and soft. I ordered it with a side of chipotle ranch, which was a good recommendation from the barista.

Staff was incredibly nice! I didn't get my barista's name, but there were so kind, nice, and accommodating. I thought service was great!

Overall, I liked the space, the drink I got, and staff was wonderful. I would come here to do work, study, get a snack, get some food from the restaurant, or pick up some coffee, tea,...

Situated next to a swimming pool and a rectangular bar, ambience is a nice mix of casual and trendy. Easy to order and everything on display. Food leaves something to be desired. Wil try a cappuccino next time to see if beverages can save the morning. First sign blueberry bacon muffin was going to be interesting was the oil coming through the cute wrapper. Greasy and devoid of blueberries and any visible bacon bits. Didn't taste very much blueberry. Biscuit sandwich also a letdown. Pre-made egg patty instead of fresh scrambled eggs and cheap American cheese. Cheddar or gruyere would've added something more refined. Just heavy. Biscuit wasn't light and fluffy. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and drinks, and nice atmosphere. Modern esthetic, quiet environment with variety of music genre, and bright lighting.

Ordered an iced carmel latte, breakfast burrito with hot sauce and sour cream, apple cinnamon roll, apple juice, and a Nashville hot chicken biscuit sandwich. Breakfast burrito is filling and latte was delicious. The apple cinnamon roll and juice were a hit for my toddler, and my husband loves the Nashville hot chicken biscuit sandwich.

Only drawback is can be difficult to find close parking. Also silverware is a bit spotty from the washing machine and finding a fly or two inside is a given since the door does get open...
