You won’t want to miss the drive in as a winter activity! Especially with young ones. It’s fun to get all cozy in the car and it’s a perfect outing when it gets dark early- just means the movies start at a good time for kids! @West Wind Drive-In is a perfect spot for a family outing! They have the newest movies and it’s way cheaper than going to a movie theater. Tuesday nights are family nights! $6/adult, $2/kids over 5 and kids 4 and under are free. Find them in the Bay: 🍿 Concord 🍿 San Jose 🍿 Sacramento The reel features the Concord location. Have you been?

Great opportunity to watch movies while keeping socially distant from others. Finally went out to a movie for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. The picture quality was decent but definitely suffers from being outdoors. Some of the darker scenes were very hard to see but I think that just comes with the territory. It didn't help that people kept turning their headlights on randomly but usually they turned it off after a while. As we were leaving we noticed that the other screen (screen 1 I think; we saw the movie on screen 2) seemed a bit brighter but I don't know if that's just grass is greener perception. But we'll probably want to try out the other screen at some point. But overall this was a great experience and I can see how this would be fun even outside of a pandemic for kids and families. It's actually kinda nice to be able to talk and relax in your own car while watching a movie.

4 months ago I tried my hardest to give this place the best review I ever gave because it has been around in my life for a very long time since I was a young teenager and a young father and older father and single and just so many different times I've had great times there but since last time I went just absolutely blew my mind. The greed of some people are some businesses. Obviously some management company came in and said I could triple your money or double your money and the way they did that as by doubling our money the double feature is no longer exist if you stay for the second feature they come by your car and asked you for a second payment per person so if you're sporting three orchids and two two of you going to have popcorn and all that you better bring a couple hundred dollars because it has gone up. 100% on ticket prices. And he used to be that's what drivers were all about is that you could go see a double feature and it was cheaper than I walk in you know and yada yada yada. They just made the drive-in here in Concord next to check over Martinez and these little towns overpriced for us so now the people that I saw their last time were obviously people from like Danville they're all you know professional women pregnant with 3 kids running around screaming. Not that I could tell that well but I'm just saying it was it was pretty clear that they weren't from the normal customer base that's for sure after I wrote that post last time I noticed it was because of my post. But it did pick up I mean I send a pic of a ton of business over the last four months it's packed all the time now and right as this finally happens they finally get back to business they used to have when I was young. So what are they do they double their prices and raise the prices on all the food by great deal the very smallest little couple handfuls of popcorn that you can get seven bucks almost 650 probably tax to. A bottle of water almost $4 I bought Junior men's and a bottle of water and it was took up my whole $10 bill I'm going to get some change back. And my back is as I went there to get popcorn. And I like you're not serious about the price of the smallest bag of popcorn are you. And I know these things are always expensive at theaters in the drive-in's you know the popcorn stuff like that's always expensive of course but I mean it's a lot more now and all the food is a lot more and to see movies now is double. And there's no more carload night I don't think. That was the night we always look forward to when we were kids so they didn't have to stuff everybody in the trunk. I only have one picture to go with this one I'm not going to review it anymore I'm I'm so disgusted I feel like the drive-in movie has been stolen from me and everybody else in Martinez Pacheco Concord area and like they called up Danville and San Ramon and said hey you should come check this thing out and they raised their prices are appropriately for people like to make that kind of income. But I'm not going to be able to afford it anymore. If I bought a girlfriend and bought some stuff a hundred bucks or sit there for 2 hours and watch a movie. It's just ridiculous. I can't believe Jesse the owner did this I hope he reconsiders what he did and you change that back. I'll show you the flyer I took a picture of it. How much money is a thank you for paying twice as much as I thought that was a really nice touch how special. Really torn up about this whole thing cuz I really love that driving and the fact that they're raising it so much there's going to be out of my price range right now anyway. Getting over the divorce so little short. But even when I get my money back I don't know if I want to spend that much on a movie or a double feature I don't even usually stay for the whole double feature I should go halfway through the second movie. That's why they go to your to collect because they wait until everybody leaves after the first movie and then they go and see who stays and then they collect you used to be able to go down to the store and back they...

We come here often and it's fun in the sense of keeping a classic tradition alive. Of course you expect the typical unsavory-yet-acceptable activities, but the attendance of these potheads specifically are just too damn high! I often have to worry about passing a drug test with my employer based on the tonnage of weed exhaust emitting from this place and filtering with protest through my nostrils.

Last time we arrived early as usual, and some inconsiderate partiers decided to park perpendicular right in front of us. They were also more interested in catching up on the past year's events than watching the movie. And I was simply trying to receive discrete "interaction" from the wife and these knuckleheads killed it.

I was already frustrated and now angry. Since these guys had 15+ people in their group, I decided to move in hopes of salvaging the evening. Also, there's no way I'd be able to teach these people how to be considerate. The movie was enjoyable, but I had to wait until we got home to finish the evening. Dissapointed.

There seems to be "something" annoying that happens each time from inconsiderate people, and I really do try to ignore it. But there really needs to be security personnel. Also, be sure to bring a loud enough radio since the highway traffic drowns out the sound often. But, it's still fun to go and we try to find a way to enjoy...

Favorite places of all time! Great thing to do with the family or friends. They have single movies but most times they do double features. Prices are waaaay better then the movie theaters and you get the experience of the classic and timeless drive ins. They have a big snack and food court for all your munchie needs plus some arcade games to pass the time while waiting for the sun to go down. Right outside the doors they have picnic benches and a play structure for the kids to keep busy. They also hold some special events and free movie nights. Every weekend the have the flea market to find or sell just about anything you might need. The staff is always friendly and available to help if needed. Our family has been going for many generations and now, I take my kiddos too. You can either bring a small radio to listen to the movie or use your car. Now days, with all the technology...I use my cellphone to listen to the radio station and Bluetooth it to my wireless speakers. I really enjoy the atmosphere, as you look around you will see some in their cars, back of trucks or jeeps, and some with chairs, set up tailgating style....But they all...
