Kasmiersky Park — Attraction in Conroe

This park can be great If the dogs in the park are truly chill, and their owners pay attention to them. But It is a public park, and so much can go wrong. So many owners are incapable of recognizing their pets aggressive behavior, and therefore do not intervene.

I've seen a few dog fights there where the dogs needed medical attention. Police are called. Some offending dog owners leave the park before police arrive, leaving the injured pets owner with a unexpected vet bill. Also have known of a few people who have gotten bitten by out of control dogs there.

Pet owners must realize if their dog bites a human It's not good for anyone. The dog Will be quarantined, at best. Or put down at worst. Be responsible and If your dog it does not play well, do not let them into the park.

Also, do not leave your purse in your car. There are smash-and-grabs happening here, and at other dog parks.

Hide your personal things on your body when you leave the car, or play it safe and don't bring your purse.

Also read the sign on the front of the park that has the rules. I've seen too many people feeding their dogs and other dogs snacks, when no food is allowed. It can cause fights. And I personally hate it when I stranger gives my dog food. There is so much...

This review is for the dog park.

Watch out for the stupid people. I went here on Saturday to the dog park with my four dogs. A lady came in with her dog and left in about 5 minutes after arriving. When I start gathering my dogs a few minutes after that I realize that both of the gates leading into the dog park are OPEN! Seriously, that lady left BOTH of the gates OPEN! If you go here watch the other "dog lovers". We are in Conroe, and people here only care about themselves.

Besides the ignorant people that frequent here the park itself is not terrible. Someone has left a kiddy pool by the water hose. There is a water fountain for humans and dogs. There are poop bags for "dog lovers" to use but they don't. Watch out for the dinosaur dumps, there are a lot.

This is SUCH a fun park and the trail surrounding it is well-shaded and smooth. The skate park is great and all of the playground equipment is, too. he dog park is also pretty fun for the furrier members of your family (but be aware that it's closed on Mondays). We love how secluded it is, because you can't hear the highway.

HOWEVER, be extremely careful!!!!! We have seen quite a few sketchy people at this park and other mothers have told me stories that strangers have tried to talk to their kids and lure them away from their families. Once we even saw a very suspicious situation involving small children and had to call the police. This park needs more regular police patrols...
