California Mission Inn — Attraction in San Gabriel

California Mission Inn (CMI) was one of the few communities A Place for Mom referred me to when I was searching for an independent living community for my 97 year old Mom. I reached out to CMI and Hayden Petrovick got back to me almost right away. Hayden arranged a tour and answered all my and my siblings' questions. We liked what we saw and what we heard, and decided to move Mom in. Hayden then played a crucial role helping my Mom settled in.

Fast forward to one year later, We are happy with the friendliness ,helpfulness of the staff, and their openness and willingness to assisting the residents. To me, as a remote family member, I appreciate very much the communication to family members on what's happening in the community. The latest example is the LA fires, especially the Eaton Fire which was relatively close to CMI. I got multiple emails from the management on the condition, and the assurance that CMI was prepared for taking care of its residents should any needs arise.

After all, the most important part is Mom is happy where she is. So, a big shout out to Jared, Hayden, Heather, Charlene and all the staff members who makes CMI a safe and comfortable...

My mom passed away in short notice. Although I am used to taking care of my dad, the pressure of being a caregiver, a mom, a wife and a worker at the same time is so great. I kept debating whether I should keep my dad at home or going to Assisted Living. As a result of taking care of my dad single handedly; I couldn't have a normal 8 hour sleep and I couldn't stay for my whole shift. My husband finally convinced me with the reality. It's not possible to achieve all these. So I started researching into Assisted Living. California Mission Inn is only 5 minutes from my house. It calms my mind. At least I can drop in frequently. I scheduled a tour and I am pleased with the cleanliness of the environment. It has a lot of outdoor areas that seniors can sit and walk with a lot of trees and shades. Hayden is our point of contact and I couldn't thank him enough. He helped me with the application process, and always answer my concerns promptly. He is so kind and always listen to my needs. My dad is moving in tomorrow and I will be able to meet the other team members, but so far, I am very pleased with...

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, welcoming, and well-maintained everything was. It’s a nice place with so many amenities included — it really feels like a resort! One of the best parts is how convenient healthcare is — doctors and pharmacy services come right to you, which brings great peace of mind. Laundry and restaurant services are included, making day-to-day life incredibly comfortable and stress-free. There are great activity options every week, and the social environment is lively and engaging.
