I purchased beautiful hot tub from Capital Hot Tubs located in Fairfax, VA. My salesman, John Homan was extremely knowledgeable on all the hot tubs and was able to answer in great detail each and every question I had. John is very professional and he is a very nice person and cares about his customers. he helped me from start to finish, from the day I purchased it to even after it was delivered, he intervened with the Capital Hot Tubs delivery team when some issues came up. He came out to my house after the hot tub was filled with water, and the electrical was hooked up to show me how to put the chemicals in the hot tub and explained each and every detail of the hot tub to me thoroughly. I would highly recommend John Homan as a salesman for anyone looking for a hot tub.
Ralph Rinaldi, who was recommended by Capital Hot Tubs did my cement work including pouring a stamped slab for the hot tub and also pouring a stamped patio that is gorgeous. Ralph went the extra mile to take care of every detail of the job ensuring that I was satisfied with the color of the stamped concrete and every detail of the project. Ralph drew a site survey plan that was required by my HOA. Ralph came out when Capital Hot Tubs had to come back and move the hot tub after the water was emptied to cover the electrical pipe that was sticking out of the ground because it was a safety hazard. The original hot tub delivery team should have moved the hot tub over the electrical pipe that was sticking out of the ground. This was an error by the original Capital Hot Tubs delivery team. It was not Ralph Rinaldi’s responsibility but he came to my house and waited for hours for the Capital Hot Tubs delivery team to come as they were delayed to ensure that the hot tub was moved where it needed to be and that it was squared off. Ralph it is a total professional and stays with the job to make sure it’s done right from start to finish and the customer is thoroughly happy with the final results. he not only cares about his cement work but he cares about the electrical work and the proper placement of the hot tub. Whenever I need any cement work done I will definitely be requesting Ralph Rinaldi to do the work for me. I highly recommend Ralph Rinaldi to anyone looking for excellence in cement work.
Jamie Lopez, J3 Power Electric LL, who was recommended by Capital Hot Tubs was excellent. Jamie was totally professional and a very nice person who cared about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction. He did an excellent job and really cared about his customer’s m satisfaction. Whenever I need any electrical needs in the future, I will definitely be contacting Jamie Lopez to be my electrician. I highly recommend James Lopez for anyone looking for excellence in...
Read moreSo I wrote a review about three weeks back where I complimented the store staff but complained about a very poor Service (as in repair) experience. It's been a few weeks now and I wanted to make sure I gave credit where it was due and stand by my word to update the review. To recap there was a service request placed as the hot tub was not heating, after several attempts via phone and in person at the store and six weeks later it was still not resolved. I had to take another approach and the problem was resolved quickly. However, the lack of service over the 6 weeks resulted in "frozen pipes" that had cracked and were leaking water on our wood deck...in the middle of a freezing December. Since there was no way to get a private response, I took to Google Reviews to complain about the experience and the resulting damage... To Capital Hot Tubs and Saunas credit, they pay attention to the reviews and called me within a few business hours of posting the comment. They admitted there was an issue in the service request, saw the record history and even saw that at one point it was miss-categorized. They were professional; polite and apologetic. They offered to send out a complimentary technician ASAP to look everything over and see what they can do to help. Within 2 hours I had someone onsite and he reviewed the issues and helped to confirm that the pipes were not actually cracked but due to the extreme cold had constricted and created little leaks at the various PVC connectors and that's what caused the leaking water. He confirmed and tested that since it had now heated up, the pipe connections expanded and thus were water tight once again. The tech. continued to look the whole unit over and saw another issue with the 30amp fuse tripping, which could have been one of two things, and his suggestion was to repair the cheaper part first and see if it worked. Even though it was not directly related to the first issue, he understood the "entire situation" and billed me for parts only and not service, and he didn't try to up-sell me on a more expensive repair. As I said earlier, its now been three weeks since the repairs and everything is working well and stable. The attention to customer experience is critical to CHT&S and I honestly do think my issue was not traditional. My recommendation today is to generally trust CHT&S, they have a reliable product and a very nice, knowledgeable staff. But if there is the slightest thought that your service request is not being handled correctly, don't be afraid to reach out to them publicly as they do listen...
Read moreWe purchased our Hot Springs spa, the Sovereign model, from Capital Hot Tubs in the fall of 2015 and my wife and I can't stop asking "Why did we wait so long to make this purchase?!" They provided a great buying experience and were very supportive as I worked through the startup process and learned how to maintain my system.
The spa has not only provided the relaxation we wanted and expected, but it has become a wonderful gathering place for our entire family. Whether it's all six of us or just a couple, the spa provides a venue free of distractions where we can talk and enjoy each other. These opportunities are all too rare these days and the spa is a great get-away that never requires convincing.
The relief the Sovereign provides to the every day aches, pains and stress that we all face is such a joy. My wife and I are particularly thankful for the relief of aching muscles and joints as we get older. My wife suffers with the additional joint pain of Lupus that makes every day a particularly difficult struggle. The soothing relief of our Hot Springs spa helps her feel better and to sleep soundly. It's a real blessing.
The Hot Springs spa may not be the least expensive option on the market, but the quality of the spa and the ease of maintenance is worth the investment. I worked on hot tubs in my high school and college days and I know how important a quality product is to the enjoyment of the spa. The Hot Springs product is as good as it gets and is definitely worth the investment.
I highly recommend the ACE Salt Water disinfectant system as it really increases the ease of maintenance and the enjoyment of the spa. It is gentler on our skin and doesn't have the harsh chemical odor. I also strongly recommend purchasing a cover lifter to make the spa easy to access and protect. If it's not easy to access, it won't be used and you don't want to make such an investment for nothing. It was a relatively small additional amount to get a cover lifter that makes it easy for my 9 year old son to operate or my wife and daughters to use the spa whenever they feel like it. Make it easy to use and you will use it!!
Don't wait any longer! Get your Hot Springs spa at Capital Hot Tubs and...
