Went there based on someone’s recommendation. This place is a Korean-Chinese (like American-Chinese) restaurant. It has the usual Korean/Chinese signature foods.

We initially were thinking about ordering the combo (dish that has two components), where you can get two dishes in one order. We ended up just ordering the full orders, figured it would be cheaper that way. If you have a smaller appetite but want to try two different dishes at once, I’d recommend you give the combo a try (the menu will provide additional details on the options)

Here are the dishes we ordered – Jia Jang Myeon (Black Bean Noodle), Chicken Fried Rice, Tang Su Yuk Pork (Sweet Sour Pork), Katsu Don (Fried Pork Cutlet). What we liked about the dishes is that they are not overly salty. The Jia Jang Myeon is not heavy and it’s the kind that you can just eat and eat and eat. The Tang Su Yuk was nicely done, hot and crispy. We do the dipping version vs the sauce pour over version. The sauce is tangy and sweet with the right amount of sourness. The Katsu is VERY crispy. Crunchy on the outside while tender on the inside. I have to say, our least favorite is the Ck fried rice. It was rather blend and the kitchen has a ‘meat taste’ to it (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s okay).

I would say this restaurant would be one of those if I want some Korean/Chinese and happen to be in the area, I...

This review is a bit mixed. Monetarily, this restaurant is money well spent. The prices are cheap, fair, and some items are below market prices where you would be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere. In terms of service though, it is really a hit or miss. Unfortunately, it is mostly a miss. The wait staff seems friendly enough. While they are consistent, they have consistently provide lazy service. It isn't because the restaurant was busy, in fact most of the time when I come they aren't busy at all. Yet, we would have to constantly ask for refills even though we are in their sight line. Then again, their wait staff is usually watching TV on their phone or their laptop. Maybe it is different when things are dead or empty but it definitely should not be like this. So while I wish I could give them a 4 or 5 star for food, the service is just lacking. :/

Anyone interested, I'd recommend it. Just be aware of what you are getting yourself into. But at least the...

This place seems to get a lot of mixed reviews, but for the record my first time eating here was quite enjoyable. I got the Sichuan gan jajang while both of my friends got Jjampong, with a plate of Khan Pung Sal (sweet and spicy fried chicken). Everything was good, the jjampong noodles in particular are consistent and have a nice broth. The fried chicken was sufficiently crispy and didn’t have too much batter. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good Korean-Chinese food.

My only real “complaint” was that the atmosphere was, let’s say, typical of your classic Asian family style restaurant. Albeit such a thing is quite familiar to me.

EDIT: came here again on 10/21 and ordered the same things. Consistent with my last visit. Since then I have come to this restaurant many times with family and friends and we have...

Conveniently located near Lowe's and Burlington in Fairfax, this Korean-style Chinese restaurant serves good Jjajangmyeon (Black bean noodles) and Tangsuyook (Fried pork with sweet sauce) that are generously proportioned. The decor is a bit old, but it is a good restaurant to visit when you crave these dishes. Update: 05-11-2025 I visited again for Korean-Chinese lunch after some time, and I noticed a significant improvement in the food quality. The food we ordered was fantastic, and the house-made noodles had a perfect texture. The decor is still a bit dated but remains clean and tidy, and the prices were very reasonable for the portions and quality of each dish.
