As others have already said, the staff here is friendly and outgoing; ready to help if you have any questions. They also have a pretty large selection of lumber, though I didn't see any of the plywood selection their website says they have. I would not agree, however, with the reviews about "low prices." Their prices seem to reflect the norm in this area; which is fine as long as you know what you're getting into. Read moreA friend told me about City Hardwoods so I stopped in for a look. I met Rob and instantly fell in love with this place! Excellent selection of hardwoods and a friendly, knowledgable staff. You could tell that everyone loves what they do. Rob gave me the tour and answered all of my questions. I loved it so much that I signed up for the "Live Edge Coffee Table" class with Dave! Talk about an expert - and the class was a blast! I learned more in 3 hours just watching and listening than in 20 hours of YouTube videos. I acquired new skills and created a Sweet Gum coffee table. City Hardwoods is now my guilty pleasure and I look forward to taking more classes...

I love to support a local small business, and City Hardwoods makes it easy to do so. I hope this place is around for a...
