Hamburger Heaven — Restaurant in Homewood

I ordered the standard cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. Let's start with the service: Staff was incredibly friendly and kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave the vibe that they were excited to be there. Food came within 5 minutes of ordering despite it being quite busy and my order was correct and exactly how I ordered it.

The Atmosphere: The only explanation I can give that feels accurate would be to say that walking in felt like walking up to the concession stand at the local ballfield, and not in a bad way. I'm talking about the one that's run by your best friend's mom and his dad runs the grill. It felt like childhood.

Best of all, The Food: Despite coming out very quickly, everything tasted fresh off the cook line. Patty was charbroiled, bun toasted to perfection with the perfect amount of condiments. Not too many that it splooges out everywhere and not too little so everything tastes dry. The proportion of patty to toppings was perfect as well and I could taste every ingredient with every bite. I’ve been a long time customer here at this location for a very long time and I’ve never ever had a bad experience. Tyrone & Christopher both are awesome!! They are the most respectful, they are patient, both seem to be well experienced , and always greet and smile to me and every customer that I see walk through that door. The cooks are well experienced and the food is always fresh. I’ve never had a long wait there that’s why I always try to tip them when I stop by and order, because it’s the people like them that deserves to be rewarded for their Outstanding Customer Service… I must say that Tyrone’s personality stands Out! I Love That Guy Attitude. He seem to be always positive!!! I’ve met the owner a few times and he also has a great attitude when helping expedite. I must say that this owner has a great team!!!!! I have always had a pleasant time with both hamburger heaven and the staff when going through the drive through, but that is not the case today. At around 2pm today when I went through the drive through i ordered my food without a drink and the man got somewhat upset that I did not get it, then preceding to order the next item on my meal he screamed "HOLD ON!" in a very disrespectful way. Then when I finally got to order the last item I was unsure if there was lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles on the hamburger steak and he yelled "THERE IS NONE OF THAT ON THIS SANDWICH!" At this point I was ready to get my food and go. When he handed me the food the hamburger steak box was turned on its side and he never let me know that it had gravy or that it was in a take out box (it was hidden inside the bag) and it leaked out all over me as well as my car. I feel sure he knew what he was doing to me when he handed me the bag with the box on it's side....
