This review is based completely on the lack of customer service and knowledge from the service department. I brought my new 2018 Polaris 1000XP in to have the alignment adjusted. Worst thing I could of done by bringing it here and having anything done! The alignment was never resolved after showing up twice after being called and told it was resolved. Then ultimately never resolved after showing up on the third go around of being told it was resolved. When showing up the 3rd time to pick up my unit that wasn't fixed, I noticed they were kind enough to scratch my new roof and new back window while having it. They did however make it right by replacing them with new, at the cost of my fuel to drive and pick them up once they arrived. Also when picking up I notice my bike is now in performance mode and they have put 10 miles on it just to not resolve the alignment, when I drove 10 feet and could tell it wasn't aligned correctly. After returning home I now noticed my ignition sticking which never had done this until getting it back from them and the steering wheel squeaking plus being hard to turn now. Called back up and got the joke of a service manager and was told they would no longer touch my bike and I needed to bring it somewhere else or the dealer I bought it from. This wonderful customer service was just the icing on the cake from all the other great experiences I had with the poor attitude and smart remarks from the guy who checks the units in for service. Ultimately I did bring my bike back to the place I bought it (Team Mancuso South) and their GM made everything right and at no cost to me after explaining the experience I had with Gene's Polaris. They fixed the alignment that Gene's couldn't manage to fix, squeaking steering wheel thanks to Gene's, ignition thanks to Gene's, and the hard steering which turned out to be someone had hammered my steering column in too far.... again thanks to Gene's Polaris. Taylor is the best parts rep I’ve ever worked with. It’s amazing that he can offer the best price AND the best expertise and support. From finding my portals, wheels, tires, etc. He knows almost everything and searches for anything he doesn’t. He gets back to me quickly and I really appreciate it.
Today I had a seized bolt in my a-arm and brought it in for service. Lane Miller greeted me and helped me troubleshoot a part that was maybe missing. We realized it was not. He is always so thorough and friendly. Then he helped me get my seized bolt taken care of immediately while I waited. Jonathan Ray was super friendly and fixed the problem immediately. Nick Belt made the whole experience, streamlined and seamless. It’s rare to get this kind of VIP treatment these days so when you do get it, you really appreciate it.
