I have been coming to see HanKyeol for about two years and consistently love the level of service and expertise. He is extremely detailed and knowledgable. I have received hair treatments, color, cuts and perms and have been very satisfied with them all. He recommends what is best for your hair and even what hair color is best for your skin tone. He's naturally an artist so he has a great eye for what would look best. He doesn't try to sell you on anything you don't need. I learn so much about how to care for my hair just by his recommendations. The products he uses and sells are top notch. He does continued learning in Korea to stay up to date with trends as well. First of all, making an appointment was not easy, and I had to wait quite a while to get a haircut with designer Hankyol. Initially, I was satisfied with the front view of my haircut when I left the salon, so I even tipped generously.

However, a few days later, I started receiving negative feedback from my colleagues. When I checked the back view of my hair, I was shocked. It was poorly done—uneven and completely inconsistent with the front view. The overall cut lacked harmony and professionalism.

Consistently disappointing skill. I got a perm here from the female owner(or the oldest female staff) and it was very asymmetrical, but she said it was because my hair was cut too thin(?). I didn’t understand but let it pass. This time i got a simple hair cut from her (which was a mistake) and she cut my hair asymmetrically again. When i pointed that out she snapped at me saying “it’s not done yet” Well guess what, after being done my hair is still massively asymmetrical. Lol She said she cut it like that intentionally because of my head shape???! Total non sense! I think she needs to improve her skill and stop making lame excuses for her...
