(3/24/2025) I've been back several times (only breakfast). They're still doing everything well and quickly. The last time, the automated box threw me off. When I got to the window, the nice lady said oh she'll keep up. I put the box to the test today and "she" kept up. The same nice lady was at the window this morning. Yall find the nices people to work the window. I'm sure they're all nice but I don't interact with them. Side note: in a post below, you will see a comment about magical fairy princess that made eggs. Well, her brother made the eggs today. I dont know what they do on these special days but please teach me and others. 20 stars just for that! Thank you all for making my morning a little more pleasant.
(Oct 11, 2024) I went again today. There were 3 cars in line before me at the drive thru. I didn't wait very long to place my order. When it was my turn at the window, I waited 30 seconds to pull forward. The girl with the pink braces at the window was so sweet. Thank you for making my morning a little brighter.
(Sept 25, 2024) My previous review was around 4 years ago. I've been back several times within the last year, including today. They are back to normal. Quick to get me in and out of the drive thru. The food is good. They happily accommodate my different or off the menu requests. I haven't been asked to pull up and wait in the last year. Everyone working there seems kind and like they care about the job. I'm back to loving this location! Changing to 5 stars!
One more thing on today's visit. I asked for 2 scrambled eggs. I don't know what that magical fairy princess lady cooking my eggs did, but they were the best. It was just scrambled eggs. I watched her finish cooking them on the griddle, put them in my box and hand them to the guy that handed them to me. Thank you for making my day!
(Review in late 2020) The food is good when you can get it in a timely manner. I go through their drive thru almost every day around 8 to 8:15am. At least 3 times a week, I have to pull forward to wait "3 minutes" for bo'rounds, which usually turns into 5-6 minutes. Today, they told me the bo'rounds would be "3 minutes" but offered grits or fries. I was in a hurry so I opted for fries. THEY TOLD ME TO PULL UP AND WAIT. If you're offering a substitute, why would you not have that ready?!?!?! The part of this that makes me so angry is they don't tell you there is a wait on your food until they have taken your money. When you ask for a refund, you have to go inside and it will take 7 to 10 days to be put back on your account. If I'm having to park and go inside to go through the refund process, I might as well wait on my food.
After today, I'm going to have to start asking if my food is ready and changing my order at the window when it's not ready BEFORE handing over my money.
I have been going to this Bojangles since August on 2016. Everything was fine for a while. I stopped going for about a year because I would be the only car in the drive thru and it would take 15 minutes to get through, most of the time I would drive away. I would go in some times and the workers would ignore you. My final straw at that point in time was I stood in line with a strange man for 20 minutes. Not one of the Bojangles crew even acknowledged we were standing there. I walked out and didnt go back until about 6 to 9 months ago. I'm about to the point of not going back now.
I know my little $5 to $7 order doesn't count for much but if enough $5 to $7 people have enough, it...
Read moreHow can I say this nicely, I will NEVER EVER EAT AT BOJANGLES AGAIN. I stop in today 3/8/24 around my lunch hour of 3pm and as always it took forever for someone to come to the speaker box. Then after being told to hold on a male mngr came on and ask me for my order. I literally had to repeat it twice to him. Then as I pulled around to pay for my order the skinny cashier with blonde twist in her head ask me to pull up because they were waiting on my chicken tenders. I ask her to please just give me something else and she caught an attitude and closed the window on me and threw her hands up in the air as to say I don't have time for this mess. While in the mean time some other heavy set employee was just walking around on the line eating some sort of Bojangless product like there was no work to be done or customers to attempt to help.. Truthfully it look like she was eating chicken tenders and dipping them in a sauce container. Wrong work ethic there.. The only car ahead of me took 7 minutes so what was her problem. So after she walked away (the cashier) and refused to come back to the window, I finally caught the attention of the male mngr, to come to the window. I explained to him at this point that I simply just wanted a refund no questions ask and gave him my receipt. He tried to say that she has your food ready now but at that point wanted no parts of the food that I had ordered and was spending my hard earned money on and to get an attitude from a cashier that obviously did not appreciate my business. I frequent Bojangless several times during the week during the breakfast hours and sometimes that service is suspect too. So after asking again for a refund the mngr acted as if he didn't know how to do a refund at first as if he was frustrated with my request. I truly believe lack of training is part of the problem at that store and more customer service training as well as people skills training is needed. When you give poor customer service to your customers, I promise you they stop patronizing your business and in the end the community looses out on another business in the neighborhood. Out of all of the Bojangless that I may visit in the area of Gwinnett, to me that store at Duluth Hwy 120 is truly the worse. I truly hope that this does not fall on deaf ears and up management will put forth an honest effort to fix the various problems...
Read moreThis Bojangles on Duluth Highway 120 near the I-85 exit has been in this location maybe three years. It's right across the street from where I work. today I got food there for the third time since they opened. I would love to be able to have hot food from the store. what's wrong with keeping stuff hot? And cold?
I got in there right after I got off work and 7 minutes later I was finally waited on. the person in front of me was being handed his food when I walked in, so there was no reason for someone not to say hey welcome to Bojangles.... hey glad you came - we'll be with you in just a minute.....nada. the place was as silent as Grant's Tomb. I'm serious there's no interaction among the staff in the back it was dead silence. When I got there I didn't think anyone was there because it was so quiet and then it scares me cuz I thought maybe there was a robbery in progress and I didn't know it because there was no sound. After all that time went by I thought I'd just go ahead and leave I started to turn around and go when someone finally came out from the back. If someone has to use the loo for short train other staff to take over at the register For Heaven's Sake.
The staff definitely need some customer service training. I'm not sure how they stay in business. My chicken was cold, my biscuit was cold and I do say that the slaw that I got was ..... well .....it wasn't chilled but it was better than room temperature.
I got the food so I can go eat in the park and it was close by so it wasn't that my food got cold while I was traveling ... it was just right up the street across from Bojangles. I keep thinking it'll get better but it hasn't..
I feel sorry for the staff 'cuz they have jobs they need to keep but someone needs to train them to be proud of being in the job. --- to be happy while they're working and interacting together.
And as an afterthought, the other two times that I went prior to today I made a comment about the terrible service and the food that was not at the proper temperature and there was never any comment from leadership or I'm sorry that happened for you please accept a coupon for a free meal or anything nothing....
