Hot Tropics — Attraction in Hayward

If you Show up before 4pm they give you an extra 30 minutes added onto your hourly rate , which makes it all worth while financially, for me to be able to go myself weekly. The overall cleanness eases my germ phobia. As soon as I enter my room, I'm turning up the radio provided, or lay out on the sheet covered bed for a bit, then hit the sauna or hot tub (i sprinkle the optional lavender bath salts ahh they therapeutically rejuvenate my senses, then I manually open iup the retractable roof for instant fresh air & star gazing while soaking in hot tub, and lastly, finish up taking a fresh shower that has terrific water pressure. Plus they also provide liquid soap you can use but I bring my own. All these amenities I explained above are all included inside my personal room for complete privacy and enjoyment! . I'M grateful for their staff's easy going mentality because I'm able to truly enjoy my me time fully and rock my music or sing (thank goodness the insulation is sound proof-great by keeping in all my loud noises, which keeps everybody happy and ears safe from not having to hear me in neighboring rooms :) Leaving hot tropics feels similar to having a 1 hour massage because the jets are great at loosening up body strains and muscle tension. This place was recommended by a friend because of it's late hours (open until 1am everyday!) and there's rooms with skylights that open. After calling to verify a few things we were told it's walk-in only and last walk-in is at midnight. We visited on a Sunday just before midnight and got a skylight room. The lady that greeted us was friendly and made us feel welcomed. From the entry room (lobby area), the hallways and our room, everything was impressively clean! The room had a bed, radio, shower, dimmable lights and a skylight. From reading/seeing pictures from given reviews I was a little disappointed when ours only opened halfway. But full sky view or not the cool night air was very refreshing! As we were leaving there were a few others exciting other rooms as well and we were given a friendly goodbye by two ladies. The surrounding area both at arrival and departure seemed abandoned, quiet but was well lite. With many hot tub/spas still operating with limited days and hours this one might just become my favorite spot! In the times of Rona and her Co-hort-Vid: I been here plenty over the years. Not doing work for owner, not paid , rarely discounted and not even let in during posted hours cause staff want to go early. I would rate 4of5 stars but that was before. I live an hour away. I've driven here since covid at least 5 times because google says they open. I arrive and see this phase 3 bull crap. It is like a knife stab every time. Why say you are open? You are NOT. Closed. Shut. Not 11am to 1am. Not hours may be different cause its veterans day or Neil Young or cause baby Ruth landed on moon. You been closed cause you ain't open. Phase 3? What phase 3? We not doing phase 3 . Actually phase 3 would have been like June. I WAS THERE and you was closed. We are now on Tier and color based reopen schedules . So which color and tier will allow you to try to make new opening promises? I'd love to give you more stars, but I'm tired of wasting time if you ain't even trying to...
