They are usually pretty good with service. Everyone working there is wearing mask and being as safe as they can considering they still work in close proximity to each other. The barricade inside the store is adequate also. As is contact with customers. Drive thru is busy and orderly moving right along. I had heard a complant or two with mistaken orders, not a lot. Tuesday I had my first experience with a mistaken order. It was twofold in that I didn't check it before I left the premises. The mistake was on a side order. I ordered a large red beans and rice, regular cole slaw, and regular cajun rice. When I got home I discovered it was a small red beans and rice instead of the cajun rice I ordered. I did not feel like driving back there wasting gas, besides It was time to eat. Normally I would let it slide even though I wanted the cajun rice for me not having had it for a long time. I might have said something about it the next time I was there to make sure they got my order correct in the future. I was in the area yesterday so I stopped to order some cole slaw and red beans and rice. I also was going to let them know about the mistaken order. I placed my order and before I paid I told them about their mistake. They asked who helped me? I said it was a short guy at which point a guy who had his back to me turned around and stepped down off of a step. I was able to see him even if his back was to me if he wasn't on the step. I identified him and he promptly asked for my receipt. I told him I didn't have it with me. He replied that I needed my receipt for his records to correct it. I said I spend a lot of money here when I come I'm not just seeking free rice. He asked for the receipt again saying he needed it. I replied so you want me to spend my gas to bring you a receipt for your mistake, because I didn't check your work and my order, right? He didn't say anything. I then said cancel my order I will bring you the receipt. But you are going to owe me for my trouble. To their credit they were polite as was I. I spend a fair amount of money when I go there, I don't just buy sides. I do like their sides. Once I was there and ordered something they were out of and it was near closing. They said it would take a while to prepare and rather than have me wait 15 minutes would make another selection? I said yes since they didn't really want to fix it near closing making more work for themselves. They didn't say it out loud, but I read the body language. They have good selctions. I chose from what they had. When I got home I was surprised to see to that they had given me a few extra items to thank me. That was nice of them. I will take them their receipt today to show them their mistake. They will have succeeded in getting me to stop by more than occasionally, by getting me to stop by 3 times...

Read moreAnother not so good experience for me at this Popeyes, though this time it could be the Popeye Corp's computer system. They let you order online now compare to last time where they didn't have that set up or something. The problem this time is, I got there at the time it said my order will be ready for pick up, about 20 mins after I put in the order and they say my order is not even in their system and it could take about 30 mins to show up on their system even though the system told me it will be ready in 20 mins. I check with the manager person who was looking it up for me and even after 30 mins, my order was not in the system. I waited some more and tried to get help on the order on the app, but the chat always load that no one was online to help me. Manager told me to call corporate to have it sorted out. So after more than an hour of waiting in the store and on hold on the phone, the person on the phone told me if the order was not in that store's system after over an hour, it's not going to be there so I had to get a refund. Since there was a deal I was getting using the online order that is not available in person order, I had to order it again online. Fingers crossed that it gets to the store's system. Luckily it did that second time, so after about an hour and 40 mins since my original order was supposed to be ready for my pickup, I finally...
