When I was growing up, this beach was a lot simpler but now with the added pier, walk ways and restrooms plus additional picnic tables, it's an even better experience. The water is usually quite shallow with very gentle waves so it's great for the little ones. The only clear spot could only fit 1 person, and that person was there. Plus, it cost $10 to get in, and all we did was check out the non-existent fishing spot and left.
