Dollar for value, the place is great. It's a smaller Renaissance festival but big enough to spend the entire day enjoying shows, shops and just having fun.
My son's highlight and my own as well was the Viking battle, major respect to them, they play hard and you fell the pain across several hits.
There is also a decent food selection, the only complaint that I would have is that there where only two small picnic tables to eat on when there was room to fit 6 or more in the pavilion and they could have had several through out the venue.

Read moreHad a great time! Food and most drinks are right at the front--lines can be long, so probably grab as you arrive. There's a couple food and drink places in the way back, but those seem to run out, despite being less busy.
The people at ren faires really make them fun--and the people here are pretty cool. Lots of small vendors, selling jewelry, wands, armor, leather goods--pretty good selection for as small as it is.

Read moreLoved the modest sized Ren Faire's atmosphere especially since I haven't been to one for about 15years. Went to find a Renaissance styled dress for my wedding. The blonde the lady at largest clothing stall(sorry I don't remember the name of the shop)was extremely patient and helpful fixing the dress and corset perfectly; even gave me a good deal since the skirt wasn't in perfect condition.
