On arrival to Margaritas City, it looked like it was closed, but so grateful they were open, 2:00. Walking in, their atmosphere is beautiful n clean. Their service was timely and accurate n frequently checked on us for needed refills. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch for the price of 24.00, total. Mexicana Steak w grilled onions n tomatoes, rice, refried beans guacamole salad n tortillas, that was soo good n tender, $14.75. Veggie Quesadillas w grilled onions, bell peppers n cheese served w tomatoes n guacamole salad, $7.50. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

First time eating there. Beautiful restaurant and plenty of parking. Ordered fajita/ chicken platter for one. Our son ordered enchiladas. The fajitas and chicken were small pieces instead of long slices, therefore the small pieces tasted overdone. Not the fajitas and chicken we were inspecting. Corn Tortillas were too chewy. I didn’t try the , but my son loved them. I don’t like putting low reviews on any restaurant, but maybe they will change the way they prepare the food. I want our local restaurants to prosper. Sorry for the low stars.

Our first visit to Margaritas City was delightful! We went for a weekday lunch (11:40am) and found the restaurant very clean and friendly with perhaps 30% of the tables occupied with patrons. We had iced tea and the Texano Plate, which was the Special of the Day. The Carne Asada was fabulous, beans and rice were good, but the beef enchiladas were somewhat bland, but still good. Their salsa was very good. I'd rate their tortilla chips 7/10. Our server was excellent. Lovely new restaurant! We will definitely return.

REVISED FIVE-STAR REVIEW: I returned to the restaurant today at 7:30am for breakfast. I was immediately greeted by a server at the front door and seated. Food was exceptionally delicious and the coffee likely made by old Juan Valdéz himself (I think I saw his Colombian burro parked out back). It’s that good. Most importantly this restaurant has management that takes customer reviews seriously and implements changes when they are reasonable and necessary.

ORIGINAL TWO-STAR REVIEW: First, food here is actually good…if you ever get seated…if you ever get a server…if you ever get to order food. I’ve walked out of this new restaurant twice now after standing for over 15 minutes at the unmanned entrance. Today, after 10 minutes and with other people also waiting at 9:00am, I started walking out again and suddenly someone showed up and seated me. It was another 10 minutes to get a menu. I only saw one server even though there were other customers in the restaurant. Once my order was taken, it smoothed out after that. Food was great. If I could, I’d give them a 4 on food and a 1 on service. First impressions about your restaurant starts at the front door. This should be an easy fix...

Me and my family went to Margarita City tonight. We had reservations for 6:30 pm when we got there about 5 minutes till our reservation the host seem oblivious to any sense of reservations. We finally got seated and when they brought out our chips and salsa one of the basket of chips they put on our table were burnt the other basket was mostly burnt. We ordered the chorizo queso as an appetizer and it came out cold in a cast iron skillet. After waiting an hour to get our food they forgot my daughters enchilada plate when they brought it out they said they had to remake it because it was over cooked. We order chimichangas and sky bowls and of the four of them all the meat was over cooked and hard to chew, and the tortillas they brought to the table out of 6 all but one was burnt. When we asked for the manager they told us that he had already left for the day. And to top it all off the beer wasn't even cold. I will not be going back and will make sure that everyone I know never goes...

This restaurant has only been open a few days so we will give them some grace. The food and margaritas were very good. We were fans of their original restaurant and could not wait for them to open! The waiter was friendly but we had multiple mistakes in our orders. For example, we ordered frozen margaritas and they did not have those so we ordered on the rocks. They had salt, we ordered no salt. Two of our group did not receive their margaritas and had to ask several times. We ordered two large quesos and received one. My mom asked for water and it tasted strongly of soap, glass had not been rinsed. Also, the acoustics were terrible. They put our group in a long table and none of us could hear each other and it was difficult to have a conversation with others. I suggest some round tables for groups as well as upgrades for noise cancellation. But the place is gorgeous, love the location. Prices reasonable and we love the food. We...
