La Bella Nails — Attraction in Bethel Township

I just moved few months ago in Delaware and I have 00 idea about nails. But someone suggested me to go to La Bella Nails as I got engaged few weeks ago. So for my special occasion to make it more special I went there but it was a bad choice I have ever made . As I already mentioned I have 00 knowledge about nails , gel or acrylic so I went there and asked them just to get an idea what I’m gonna do . But they didn’t even listen my thing and showing like they were so busy ( just to mention there wasn’t even that much customer at that time ) also they are not even clarifying me anything. All they just asked see the board and what color that’s it ! Then i decided ok let me do acrylic and they started to do it ( i already showed them a picture which i took from google as they were not helping me by giving me any idea about gel acrylic ) . So I was asking them how it’s gonna be , if I need this design can they do it etc staff like that . But the lady who was doing my nails seems so irritated and not even answering my questions. Also what I felt very insulted whenever I’m asking something instead of replying me they are talking in their native language.( which they shouldn’t do , otherwise customers felt like they are talking about the customer which I felt ) then lastly when it comes to the price damn they just keep adding like for design $15 , this and that $15 and handed me a $80 bill (FYI I did acrylic with white design on top of it which was written in the board 38+ something) 🙂my question first when I asked them which is what that time why they didn’t inform me those that price could be like this if you add design . I went there two times one for to do the nail and second time for refill even for refill they are like for cut $3/$4 , if you add color $10 like they said for refill with gel $50 seriously. And even that time when I was asking what’s the process instead of replying me they were again started talking in their language among themselves. So this would be my last time .i feel like they do scam not sharing the correct information specifically new customer like us who never done nails. And lastly when you are with customer instead of talking to your staff in your language please try to talk with the customer so that the customer doesn’t feel insecure. Worst...

I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m hoping that this will help them make a change. The lady that did my services (pedi and regular polish nails) was polite. I’m sure all the workers are also polite and hopefully try their best. One thing that was annoying was that I said three times I wanted a regular plain polish on my nails, NOT a manicure. Wasn’t listened to even though she nodded and said yes, that’s right and I still got charged for a manicure. Annoying but okay I’ll get over that. I just cannot get over the uncleanliness of the place. Right off the bat I could tell the place needed some tlc, no big deal as many older salons do but this wasn’t just a little need- it was a BIG need. Within three minutes of my pedicure I saw a roach crawl across the floor. I’m not a confrontational person, everything in me wanted to leave right then but sadly I’m a big baby so instead I sat uncomfortable. The lady didn’t really pay attention to detail during my pedicure and certainly didn’t care to take the time to give me a nice thorough one. After that I was moved to the chair I’d be getting my nails painted at. The chair, the station, the floor, everything was so dirty. I can’t believe they have customers seeing this. I seen another roach and made sure to have my belongings on my lap. I really hope they clean this place up because it’s just not right. I know most sane people would’ve spoke up and/or left but like I said, I freeze and sadly don’t have it in me. It’s also worth noting that before arriving I tried calling twice with no answer, then while I was there they had four calls come in that they did not answer even though THREE workers were doing nothing. I’ve gone to this nail salon with my 3 daughters many times over the years. We switched last year, but decided to give it a try over the weekend. I got a full set of acrylics. When I got home, I noticed that several of my nails had spaces between my nail bed and the acrylic. It was so bad, food was getting caught in the spaces. I returned today to have the 4 nails fixed. The employee argued that there was no problem. I showed her multiple times what the problem was and expressed my concern about fungus or bacteria due to the gaps. She then tried to pour some nail glue in there, but I told her that is not what I wanted done. I paid to have my nails done properly. She aggressively started to cut the acrylics with nail clippers and tore the nail bed of my thumb. I told her she was hurting me and she then had another employee soak the acrylics off. When she put the new nails on, she was rough, the nails are different lengths and shapes than the originals. I have 4 nails that look completely different. She was clearly annoyed. One of my fingers has a partial clear coat on it, which I didn’t notice until I got home. I’m a professional. As a nurse and employee of the health department, I pride myself with always doing a job right. Sadly, the woman I dealt with (not the owner, but she was sitting right next to me, so I know she heard everything) didn’t see an issue with her sloppy work nor did she care to fix it appropriately.
