I purchased a brand new leather sofa & loveseat combination. The salesperson was very nice and shared information about the product warranty and then proceeded to inform us that she had added on an additional “insurance policy” which would cover any type of incident that exceeded the regular limited warranty and was a “repair or replacement” coverage. So, several months later when we began having issues with our reclining couch making a popping sound and jerking whenever being let up or down we reached out to have it seen about. After several weeks and multiple attempts (email, phone call etc) we finally had a repair man come by. He looked at the couch and determined that the frame was bent and would need to be replaced. It took several more weeks for the part to be delivered to us and at that point we were informed that it was our responsibility to contact them again to have the repair scheduled. A few more weeks passed and finally a repair man returned only to open the box containing the new part and discovering that it too was busted. So…..had to contact the store to order another one and go back to the waiting list again. We have now received the second replacement part and it has been sitting on our front porch for about a month waiting for the repair guy to return. At this point a situation which should realistically have been resolved in a matter of days has turned into weeks and more than six months?! Totally unacceptable while I am left with an improperly functioning piece of equipment that I paid nearly $4,000 for. When I made contact with Morrells to express my extreme frustration and disappointment I was then informed that “there was no insurance policy but simply a warranty that had recently expired.” It certainly seems suspicious to me that when I purchased said “warranty” it was called an “additional insurance policy” to cover the things not covered by the manufacturers warranty?! Now when I called to utilize the insurance it is being referred to as a warranty and due to the dragging of feet and taking precious time the so called warranty has expired. I am not happy with my experience. It seems to me that I was told one thing to make a sale and something else entirely when it came to service after the sale. I do not recommend Morrells due to their lack of service...
Read moreMy wife and I moved into our new home off 441 in September of 2021. We had little to no furniture in the house. It is a 4 bedroom 2,200 sqft one story. Morrell's was a recommendation from from a co-worker. She said she had furnished 2 homes entirely, by shopping at Morrell's and wouldn't go any where else. We made our first visit and realized why she had said that.Their employees are nothing short of amazing. I mean everybody, from the guys that work the warehouse, to every sales associate they have. No high pressure sales in his store! My understanding is that the employees are paid a good wage to prevent that type of selling. Miss Lindsey made us feel like she was our own personal interior decorator. She asked all the right questions to balance my wife's tastes with our wallet and quality of furniture. Over a year and a half we have also furnished part of our Air BnB. Another really cool item that they provide is large Photographs of the many local Springs, taken by the Owner himself. We have a few in our rental and they are an awesome addition. Please pay Morrell's in Lake City, a visit. Ask for Lindsey, you won't be sorry! We certainly wouldn't shop elsewhere, there's...
Read moreMy experience with Jake at the mattress store was spectacular. He was wonderful.
Now my experience at the furniture store was horrid. The sales girl was super nice and sold me a sectional that i liked from the sales floor. She made it fit within my budget. Well delivery was today and the 3 seat sectional part did not fit in my doorway. They tried all they could. Not mad at the delivery guys. They tried. The jacked the paint on my door, but they tried to get it in. Well i spoke with the store manager, and shes telling me that i have to wait a week to get parts that will fit in, and i have to pay a price difference of almost 200 dollars, and im loosing seating space. Theres some degree of customer satisfaction that is lacking here.
If i were anyone looking for furniture, avoid this place. Customer service nor customer satisfaction are priority to this place, at least the manager there. The sales lady was very nice....
