Skinne Face and Body Care — Attraction in Oak Ridge

I just went in for the facial with extractions from Groupon about a month ago. I had my session with Anna, who recently joined this place. Initially after my facial, I was happy with the facial because I needed one. There were redness and bumps due to the extractions. Fast forward to even now, my face still has those scars from the places she did the extractions on and bumps as well. I am not happy that those scars aren’t going away.

During the session, I was concerned about was for how short a duration she put the heating air release above our face to open up the pores. I felt she didn’t leave it on for too long like only for maybe 2 min Max, but since she seemed like the expert I didn’t ask for it to start on longer. I believe because the heated machine wasn’t kept for longer time, my pores didn’t open and the extractions were done on closed pores, which then left the dot marks around my face. The attached a photo showing my left side of the face which had the most bumps and small brown spots leftover. It’s not the most clearest pictures but I didn’t have those spots before, because these bumps don’t usually come on the sides of your face. Not happy.

Update: I have been breaking out in the areas/spots around my face where that horrible Anna girl did my extractions. I also see small depressions by those spots, most likely from the forced extractions. I don’t understand why these people do these extractions around the sides of the face when I never even had any complaints about the sides of the face nor did I have acne around my temples or corners of my hair. They ruined the sides of my face. They asked me what I wanted in the beginning and I only said I wanted extractions on my nose and chin areas. But that girl wouldn’t do extractions there. She only would do what she’s wanted. What’s the point in asking the customer when you won’t even satisfy their requests? I then had to ask her to do some extractions on my chin. I am horrified about the after effects of this. Never going back and to all customers wanting to get back head extractions please be careful to go to a dermatologist or better place. Pros: The ambiance of the spa was great. The staff is very friendly. The experience booking the appointment was quick, accommodating, and effortless.

Cons: I would not recommend this place to a new spa goer. While was my first face treatment, I read, research, and have been fine tuning my skincare regimen for years. I was really looking forward to getting microneedling w/ hyaluronic acid and walked out of my appointment without receiving that service. I was told my skin was dry and my appointment was switched to a facial that would be covered by my prepaid price. It seems like the model of services is to offer add ons, and that is specifically why I would not recommend this location to beginners.

When I look up the line of skin care products recommended at the end of my visit, they are meant for acne prone skin and not endorsed by all dermatologists.
