Do not donate here. So incredibly frustrated. We are giving our items for free so they can sell them. My husband had just had surgery and needs another so he apologized that he would not be able to help unload. The guy working complained about how everyone just pops open their trunk and expects him to unload. He proceeded going through every box and mentioned how if we didn't look up online how to sort the boxes it couldn't be accepted. Most of the boxes were sorted with clothes, toys, household with the exception of adding a stray item into the box when there was a little extra room. Again these are free items. Most of what we donated was brand new clothing with tags or still in the plastic wrap and several boxes of new items from last season that were from my baby boutique I own. I did have a couple household items I added in and then was told our metal decor initials he didn't want. So he took everything and left those. Again most items were brand new. To have every box gone through with the employee complaining the entire time was incredibly frustrating. We will never donate here again and will find somewhere that appreciates what is...
Read moreI was unfairly denied being sold a sweater. I had 2 sweaters (both stapled tags had come off while I was in fitting room, I made sure I kept them, I just didn’t know which was which anymore). 1 sweater happened to be significantly nicer, with the retail tag still attached. The cashier, whose name I did not see had an obvious attitude change upon me trying to explain the situation with the tags. It was obvious that she thought I was lying/trying to steal. She told me the policy was “no tag no sale”. However, she had no issue selling me the 2nd sweater that’s in lesser condition. I was quite confused and taken aback by this - honestly I wouldn’t have bought a single thing if I’d not been so in shock by the hypocrisy. I asked if the sweater would be available another day for me to purchase and she flatly said “No. it’ll be gone.” I did call the store manager, Gerard and voice my complaints just to be met with incompetence on the other end. Don’t waste your efforts trying things on + have to reattach a staple tag to clothing just so you can POTENTIALLY...
Read moreVery excited to go in the store for the first time. Was shocked to see that clothes were separated by color and not size. Many people do not have hours to spend shuffling through racks. There are many people with disabilities who don’t have hours or patients to do this. It’s upsetting when you constantly find shirts you like and they’re not in your size. To make more money for your cause and make it more convenient for the public. Separating by size is the way to go. I seen many people leaving empty-handed. I also left empty-handed after being in there for over an hour. Store was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Looks pretty nice But not consumer friendly the way the clothing is separated. I am even willing to donate my time to help them organize the store by sizes!! I sent an email to the Salvation Army. Their response was I would hear back from them within 48 hours. Never happened. I would love to go back there but not the way it’s...
