We've been to this location about three times and our most recent visit will be the last. I always try to give places the benefit of the doubt and this was the final straw. We came in on a Saturday evening, they were busy, so we expected to wait a little while, but not 45+ minutes for our food from the time of ordering. We were a party of 3 which only ordered 2 10 piece wings, one order of fries, and a chicken caesar salad. There were tables of 4 getting served before we were and they were done by the time we got our food. The table in front of us, a party of about 6-7, were served as we were seated, ate, and even looked at us when they were leaving and said "boy, hope you're not waiting on food..." to which we said we were. Our waitress was running around but literally not checking in on us at all. She then came over twice to tell us our food should be ready soon (ok... but it's already been 45 minutes). We get our wings and order of fries delivered by someone other than our waitress, but our friend didn't get his SALAD. HOW? I bite into my wings and they were cold--like they've been sitting out the entire time. The fries? Also cold. My husbands wings were warm. So we wait another 5 minutes and still no salad. I'm trying not to eat these wings because they're cold but no one comes over. My friend had to get up to go find the manager and tell him he's waited over 45 minutes for a salad and my wings were cold. He finally gets his salad... (Edit to add: my friend reminded me recently that the salad didn't even have dressing on it and when he asked for some dressing they charged us $.99 for it). I'm still sitting with cold wings and I'm starving so I say eff it and eat them because I can't wait another 45 minutes to eat. It was just so bad. We told our waitress the issues we had with the dinner and she said she'd tell her manager to which he literally gave us a ham sandwich for free for our troubles lmao--which is supposed to be a hot ham sandwich, but LOL it was cold too. The whole experience was like it...
Read moreMy problem and reason for 1 star is because of the manager (melissa). I called to place a togo order & was put on hold with the girl who answered the phone. About two minutes later, another girl picked up, took my card information then hung up. I didn’t think anything of it, until I got hung up on AGAIN after trying to place an order. The third time I called, the girl was very confused when I asked if my card was still on ordering screen (after placing order). On hold again, and this time the manager answers, telling me they just had a large group leave without paying their tab, and they assumed I was calling to pay for it. No one checked or verified my name, or the unpaid order, they just ran my card anyway. Melissa tells me she canceled it and if it’s not back in my back right away, she’ll “figure something out” when I go to pick up my food. Now my husband and I show up to speak with her, and she takes her sweet time coming over. She sees us, and continues to talk to other coworkers before coming to help us. We go back and fourth on this situation for about 5-10 minutes, all with her continuously telling us “I won’t pay for your meal, but I’ll give you a discount”, which we ended up doing. But for her to stand there and be a smart ass, and ultimately rude about the situation, wasn’t ok. Why should WE have to pay for someone else’s order, and have to wait the 1-3 business days for it go back into our account, when it wasn’t our fault that her staff didn’t confirm a damn thing!? The food was amazing so shout out to the cooks. One thing though is they forgot our drinks and sauce, so my husband went back to get them, and we STILL got the wrong drink. Food was 10/10, service (mostly manager), 0/10. Put some sense into your girls, verify ALL correct information, and don’t charge other people for another parties order of OVER $100. I didn’t want to leave a bad review, this is my first ever..especially since it wasn’t the establishment itself, just one sole person, but cmon, be a...
Read moreUpdate..So as everyone can see Hooters Corporate responses to my review below and asked for me to reach out. I reached out and they asked for my mailing address and said they would follow up with the Hooters in Spring Hill concerning my experience...and just like the manager at the store...no more communication. No wonder Hooters of Florida is having to file bankruptcy...Poor service, quality of food is down but prices are up...
I live an hour from this restaurant but we normally love ordering here. Our order cost $125 before I mistakenly tipped 10.00. I ordered 20 original wings in TMI, 10 original wings honey Thai chili, 10 boneless honey BBQ, steamed shrimp, 3 orders of fries, 2 hooter salads with chicken added plus extra sauces and dressings. The 20 piece wing box only had 16 wings in it which is why I immediately called the restaurant and was advised a manager would call me back. Well, then we started eating and the TMI that was supposed to be on the wings was not TMI but some sweet sauce. They were horrible. The boneless wings were plain BBQ not honey BBQ and the butter that came with the steamed shrimp resembled applesauce. Have picture for that. And it is now 22 hours later and NO ONE has bothered to call me back as stated. It is the responsibility of the waitress bagging the food to check for accuracy so we feel pretty stupid now giving a tip since this apparently did not happen and the cooks in the kitchen apparently cannot count or read an order to know what sauce was supposed to be on the food. As for the butter, you knew it was wrong when you put it in the plastic cup...this wasn't for a baked potato..it was for dipping steamed stream. For the cost to dine here, you would think we would get the food and service...
