Walls Ace Hardware — Attraction in Marietta

My first time at this hardware store. Asked if I needed help several times. I was there to get a new door lock set so bought the store brand, Ace. It was said located on aisle 17 but it is not labeled so must look for it at the back right side of store. Given rough estimate of distance from Lake Allatoona where my dad drowned in 1973at age 23 from Birmingham, Alabama. I usually over my life have visited his siblings and their families. Luckily my mother's nephew has moved his family to Douglasville so me and my other maternal cousin stopped to visit. This gas station is 1block up from Walls Ace and pictures often disappear but not memories. We were in route to Joker's Audio next to a store named cloud 9same as in Birmingham,Alabama. So coincidental that I was a member of Junior Achievement another JA initial plus a man with Walls on his overalls. My fantasy 5 tickets had three specific numbers 5,15,17 in my life. So scary how that was plus their phone number is backwards address for store. Now must get my car windshield replaced that changed after we returned. I hop there is no reverse key duplicate somewhere since They were just right there so decided while thinking about it going ahead and bought out of town. They are an independent franchise so can not return in my hometown. Went on and completed purchase but maybe no other damages occur ad a trailer. I will consider other luck since my birthday is on the 9th...

I really love an Ace Hardware, and this store never disappoints. I've done a couple of paint projects around my house, and the team here is always friendly, helpful and quick in their service despite being very busy most of the time! Five stars from this past Saturday's visit when I brought a swatch of paint in from my living room wall. I have done some redecorating and need to patch some holes from previous pictures, etc. I'd just had a less than stellar experience at Sherwin Williams, where I originally thought the paint was from, but low and behold, it was Ben Moore paint! The owner? manager? (he's always there) at Ace, happily took my swatch, helped me determine the finish (actually educated me on finishes too!), and color matched it PERFECTLY. My walls look brand new, and it took them all of 20 min to get me in and out, and it was the most pleasant interaction from start to finish. I can't recommend enough. They can color match ANY color, so I may be done with big box stores to maintain this...

I purchased an item here and needed to return it. It had been 3 months but their return policy is not stated on their receipts. So I called to specifically ask what their policy is and if I could return it. I explained when I purchased it, that the item was new, original packaging, undamaged and I still had my receipt. I spoke to William and he said it would be no problem to return the item given it was new and I had the receipt. I do not live near this particular Ace Hardware and had made a previous attempt to return the item to my local Ace but they do not allow that. It has to be the exact store you purchased from. I made the long drive and when I tried to return the item, the manager refused. William was at the register and said he misspoke on the phone. Their policy is 30 days.
