Wildhorse Golf Course — Attraction in Pendleton

It is well maintained, no issues with the course itself. Their play management leaves something to be desired. They allow groups to start when they show instead of at their times, which leads to bunching up. At the turn, we basically got snacks and drinks, went right back on the course in order. On the tenth, we were rudely told to play faster, and that there were 4 groups on 10 waiting to tee. Likely everyone who sat and ate. This was in the middle of hole. We rushed, played poorly thereafter, and then proceeded to wait from 14 on for every hole. I let them know after the round and they didn't seem to care at all. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE HISPANIC! Took a trip from out of state to enjoy a nice weekend of golf and after being accused of driving on the green of a hole we were not even at yet, were then followed and watched the rest of the game! I have never in my life pulled the whole race thing but when an old white employee keeps accusing us (group of all Hispanics), then refuses to ask any of the other players in front or behind us (who were all groups of white), THEN proceed to follow and watch us for the rest of the game, it makes it pretty obvious. It's always nice to see a smiling face when you first arrive - Sedia in the pro shop was very kind, professional and accommodating, as was Nathan when I decided to continue on with the back 9. Beautiful golf course! The Superintendent and maintenance crew are to be commended for keeping it so immaculate. The tee boxes were tidy and well-turfed without any bare spots; the fairways and greens were outstanding - very lush and green despite a very hot summer! Traps were raked and without any weeds.
