Springs Brooks Stadium — Attraction in Conway

Had a wonderful time, love my seasonal seats. I moved from Logan WV in 1984 to Conway SC and love it. I like to talk to people I'm setting beside just to where they a from because Conway has people from different states. So I ask the lady beside me where she was from. Rock Hill SC and lives here now. I tell I'm from Logan WV, then lady right in front of me said I'm from Huntington WV, a man setting next to her I'm from Charleston WV, a man to his right said I'm from Beckley WV, then someone touches from behind and we are from Parkersburg WV. I stand up and said I'm leaving, I moved here to get away from Hillbillies and now I'm surrounded by Hillbillies. I can't stand it. Parking was a pain, all this donor parking? General parking was a joke, couldn't find a spot. All those people for a 22K stadium? Sad part was the stadium was only half full, maybe half! Too many drunk under aged kids. If you wanted s beer, price was decent $6. But really no one goes to the game! Tailgates I saw were unimpressive, seen better at H.S. game. We went to the first home game in the new stadium and it was extremely and clean. The parking is a short walk from the stadium itself. The concession stand line was extremely long as it was the only stand on the side we were on. I think they need to add more concessions because the stadium was not even half full and the lines were long, but this could have been them adjusting to the new season with new staff. Will 100% be back again but I hope they do figure out the concession...
