Park is nowhere near the pinned location and there's minimal signage to lead you in the right direction. Nice enough park, if not for the fact that nobody seems to use dog parks in this town. Been here a month and have yet to find one with more than one other dog. And when there is a dog, the owner never wants their dog to interact. The small bridge that goes from the childrens area to the dog park isn't safe when it's wet. The entrance to the park has a small trench from rain & is extremely slippery when wet. Proceed with caution.
I bring my dogs here often but we also go to the Mickey's Dog Park in Killeen & they know what's up. This dog park has no (see update) seating inside the gated areas & is just about IN someone's back yard. Not handicap friendly even tho the closest parking IS HANDICAP.Coulda planned this better Cove.
