I’m delighted to share with everyone my amazing experience at the Spa today, after a hectic work week, and Saturday night filled with fun, I decided to try the spa here at the iconic Biltmore hotel, I drove 45mim from where I live to experience this place. And let me share with you all my time here was exquisite, divine and pristine, I absolutely recommend this place, starting from the greeting from the FD located in the 7th floor, with a sweet smile from Caroline she checked me in, then I was walked to the areas where I would be relaxing and enjoying every second. I came in around 1:30pm to arrive prior my service at 2:40pm to start relaxing and well let me continue with more. I enjoyed the steam room ( I would say could’ve been a little hotter but was good) then I went to the sauna and finally used the amazing cold shower, please check the pictures I took, Tania, Jesus and Martha the attendants of the common areas were kind and courteous, then I had the incredibly pleasure to meet Patricia ( she is from Colombia 🇨🇴) and let’s just say she want above and beyond for me, she is truly expert of costumer service, she kept checking if I was needing anything at all times and made my day absolutely relaxing and magical which was my point on booking here and giving it a try. She showed me more of the spa, the area for the nails and facials, she gave a delicious coffee and don’t forget to ask for the sweet biscottis (couldn’t resist a few of those lol), then when the time of my service was due, I was called by Judith, she took to the massage room, and I haven’t felt such a precise way of massaging in a long time, she was professional and delicate with her touch, and did fantastic job with the “balancing massage” which was a mix between Swedish and deep tissue (yeah I felt sleep a few times during my massage lol it was that good 👏🏼), I finished and Patricia came back to check on me and offered me a mix of water, lemon 🍋 and mint, then sat down for a relaxing view of the Coral Gables city from the co-Ed lounge area, and let me just conclude when you need to relax, decompress and enjoy your time this would be an amazing idea. I just finished a 2 night stay at the Biltmore Hotel after living years in Miami and trying to find occasion to stay there. Finally, as we are about to move to Orlando, we treated ourselves. Let me say the the property is absolutely stunning. During the day, and at night- just wow! If I could give 5 stars on that alone I would. But unfortunately my 3 star review is due to the staff. And I will say this was not EVERYONE But enough staff was underwhelming and depressed looking that it merited a comment. Especially for management to wake up and see what’s really taking place. One night we went to the coffee shop for a dessert, and after patiently waiting for the barista to finish with guest before us, he turned around and said “what do you want?” As if he was so disturbed by our presence. Very cold employee. Next, when went to breakfast at La Fontana- the hostess was SO confused on where to sit us. We told her 3 times where we preferred to sit- since she asked us, yet we were still standing in front of everyone else having their breakfast surrounded by eyeballs waiting on hostess to finally decide where we would be. If I’m at a fine hotel, I want the hostess to be decisive and prepared. Not Johana. I think that was her name. Lastly, calling in room dining using the menu in the room is a joke. Don’t get excited about anything because chances are - it a NOT on the menu. And how dare I think on a Sunday to order from the Sunday section, I heard the employees on the phone laughing at my selection (Poke bowl) as if I should know that’s not available. She should have just placed me on hold so I would have had to hear the comments. And I almost forgot- the spa is beautiful- not the best, but the spa room attendants on the female side are like a tornado when you first arrive. Not relaxing at all. And NO tour was even given. They are older ladies and I love to see they’re employed but maybe a little etiquette on not storming a new guest and asking 4 questions at once and being extremely loud. I even heard ladies who came in after me to the relaxation area comment the same thing. And in the end, the only thing I needed was a hair tie, and she never even brought it. Hahahah

Those small touches and training of employees matter. I hope management can do a refresh on this to help with the overall...
