While there is a group of homeless at Corona City Park they are for the most part harmless. A fight might brake out with them but they only use some adult language and dance around each other most of the time. A real fistfight is rare at the park. They respect the kids and usually will leave the shelters near the playgrounds to fight if there is children present. I know the people out there say" I wouldn't go near that park if you paid me too" I have never in the five years that I have gone there,(I have been there at noon and midnight) I have never had any problems with any of the homeless people that I have encountered. In point of fact I have come to know many of them and I count a few of them as dear friends who have my back and I honestly can say that I can trust them . People stop judging them and start to get to know them. There is truly great people there, that unfortunately have become homeless. The old civic center main lawn around the fountain between Vicentia and Buena Vista or the Old Fender museum which is now the new Circle city center and tents or camps should be on the huge lawn in rear of building around the stage. NO STAGE CAMPING*front hedges and around property are ok. This is a great Tactic to use for peaceful protest in order to show the exact count of the Homeless/Street persons. Read moreIt's sad to see the park like this I've been going there since 1967 when my mother used to walk my brother and I to use the pool in the summertime from the D Street area down 6th Street where is our law enforcement where are the parks people where is the community have we no pride in Circle City anymore since when has been okay to Camp there overnight or squat in the park doing drugs in front of our children where are our city officials and what are they doing about this.
