By luck I stumbled across this prime spot to watch Ballon fly by (down wind) from the #AlbuquerqueBallonFest2022. Few people around simple parking at access point and seems to be pretty safe neighborhood surroundings. It was a little hike (1 mile) to the Guadalupe River but worth getting alittle dirty. Saw a few Ballons do "Touch and Goes" right in front of us !!!

Read moreThis is a great access point to the Bosque Preserve. Take Meadowlark east to the irrigation channel. Hang a right and follow the dirt road to it's end. There are bike trails, horse trails, and footpaths. Some of the trails wind to the river, while others traverse the cottonwood forest.
