I was at the market during the extremely busy Sandoval Master Gardeners plant sale which takes up multiple booths. There was not clear dividers between that booth and the neighboring booth which was also selling plants. I stepped through to the other booth and the owner yelled at me that the exist to the plant sale was the other way (rude, but fine) but then physically shoved me back into the other booth. I could not believe this woman laid hands on me. I wrote to the market about this experience and they told me she was âallowed to protect her boothâ apparently by assaulting customers and to âput myself in her shoesâ - hard to do since I donât go around assaulting people. Specifically, Green Chile from Lopez Farms in Socorro who occupy the space at the Southeastern corner of the market. Chris Lopez and his delightful wife Monette, have great produce and he hand-cranked a bulging bushel of Big Jim medium to get me going with the start of next year's supply.    Read moreNo dogs Allowed. Always wanted to go check out the market. Itâs the first growers/farmers market I have ever been to that prohibited all except service animals. It was a lot smaller than expected as well. I didnât spend much time there because I couldnât leave my dogs in the truck very long. Was getting hot even with the windows all the way down.
