REC Electronics — Attraction in Cranston

THERE WERE MORE negitive reviews on here b4 i turned my tv over. But i gave him a shot, could of been better, and got my tv back with the accessories it came with. Im jus glad to get my tv back, il amazon and buy the kegs an l.e.d again, Just being honest, took tv in to get fix for a backlight issue, we communicated fairly well the first week, then the 2nd week I was waiting for my part to come in , I call to see what's going on, after we speak I ask him to call me when the part comes in and the tv is fixed, ..almost 3 months for a backlight, then here's the kicker..my tv legs are missing. And the L.e.d strips I had in the back of my tv.. for 4 years the whole.back got replaced my main issue with the place is, he will say I'm open on w.e day...won't show or is late, now i had some issues the first month. Health reasons but i stayed by my phone...not one call came in ,and waited for him to call me i nvr got one, PLEASE take your tv elsewhere. I'm glad we resolved it but it shouldent of taken 4 months and your tv should come back fixed without missing parts. I left the feet in the box because my tv is Mounted , I'm moving an noticed the legs are gone from the box, jus save yourself the hassle an find...

I’m sorry I’m giving this guy 1 star I had high hopes but it wasn’t worth what I got by the end I brought a tv to this guy to fix it, it wouldn’t turn on he told me it was led lights based off his diagnostics mind you this is something I was charged for took almost three weeks for him to fix it and that’s on top of the lack luster communication I had blow to the guys phone up just to find out further info about my tv…after it was finally “fixed” basically after I paid this guy 200 I took it home and tv would still shut off and after I contacted him he wasn’t even helpful with me bringing it back he told what he thought it could be but isn’t that what the original diagnostic was for? It’s sad bc the guy is cool And pretty respectful but my experience was just terrible. I don’t know about going back there but my tv still has the problem after going through this whole problem. Like what...

Eddie is the man. I dropped off an old TV with VCR and DVD built in to diagnose and address why the VCR component wasn’t working yesterday and he had it fixed and ready to go today for me. 24 hour turn around. That’s hard to beat.

When I came to pick it up, he plugged it in for me and put in a VHS tape to show me it was back up and working, which it was—I really appreciate the attention to detail there.

Back home now and the kids have been able to play their VHS movies without any issues again.

I’ll be sure to head to REC Electronics for any other electronic issues I have...
