Spark Bridal Boutique — Attraction in Cranston

I booked my appointment with Spark Bridal online through their website. At the time I booked it, I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was my first time going dress shopping. It was the most amazing dress shopping experience I could’ve asked for!

I called the week of my dress shopping appointment to confirm that I was all set and to also ask a few questions. I’m not sure who exactly I spoke to on the phone, but they were so patient and answered every question I had. I felt much better about going into my dress shopping experience.

When I got to the shop, I was immediately greeted upon entering the store. Laura was my consultant and she was absolutely amazing. I had a bit of a bigger group going with me, and she was patient with everyone’s questions and opinions. She asked me some starting out questions to figure out what I was looking for, and then sent me off to a section of the store that had dresses I was describing that were all within my budget. She had me pull some and explain what I liked about each one so she could figure out better what other dresses I may like. When I got in the fitting room, there was a dress on a mannequin that a lot of my group had loved, but she told me it was out of budget and asked me privately if I would like to try it on or forgo it since it was out of budget. She also told me that I could try on the dresses in whichever order I liked, and that I could go out to show everyone if I loved the dress, if I liked the dress, or even if I hated the dress. It was my experience and she wanted to make sure I had the best one she could give.

While I was at the shop, there was only one other bride trying on dresses, so I felt very comfortable, and I felt like I had the full attention of my consultant.

I ended up finding my dress and my veil, and I could not be happier with the experience that I got. Every girl dreams of a Kleinfeld experience, and I felt like I had a piece of that at spark bridal.

I have a been a bridesmaid more times than I can count so I've visited many bridal shops in the New England area. When it was finally my turn I had some ideas of where to go but had heard about this mother-daughter run shop in Cranston, RI. I was quite interested because I read that they had a wide array of dresses in many sizes. I'll admit that I am not an eager shopper when it comes to shopping for myself. I knew that I would not feel comfortable guessing or imagining how a dress might look if it was in my size. I knew I needed a place where I could try on dresses that fit (or close to it!) to feel the magic! Laura and her mom Kim were just wonderful! The store is gorgeous - elegant, clean, and stocked with dresses! They have a huge selection of dresses - both off the rack and to order. Laura made me feel so comfortable and offered experience and suggestions when needed. She listened closely to what I loved about certain dresses, considered the feeling of my ceremony and reception, and pulled dresses that stayed within my budget. Purchasing my gown there was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it! To further my love for the store, the genuine care and support I felt as we navigated these pandemic waters was above and beyond. Laura reached out several times to offer support and to make sure we were still on track for my wedding. I was recommended to Spark Bridal Boutique by a friend who also found her dress there, and I’m so glad I listened! I had previously visited a chain bridal store and had a disappointing experience, so I didn’t have high hopes going into this appointment—especially since I was just going to browse the sample sale with my wedding still 500 days away.

From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel so welcomed and genuinely excited to be part of my wedding journey. I only tried on sample dresses, but the variety was incredible—there were so many unique styles and silhouettes to choose from.

As my mom put it perfectly, every time I came out in a new dress, we thought it couldn’t get better… and then somehow, it did. The staff was amazing at guiding me through the options, suggesting dresses I wouldn’t have picked myself—including the one that ended up being the one!

What stood out most was how transparent and supportive the entire team was. Since my dress was from the sample sale, they took the time to go over every detail with me to make sure I was 100% confident in my decision. After I said yes to the dress, I got to participate in a fun promotion where you pick a rose to reveal your discount—mine said $10. I got my dream dress for just ten dollars! Everyone, including the owner, was so genuinely happy for me.

I also purchased my veil there, and even after the amazing deal on my dress, they honored the sample veil promotion and gave it to me for 10% off.
