Udder Delights Ice Cream & Frozen Desserts — Restaurant in Cranston

I used to love to come here with my daughter, but an encounter with the owner was rather sour. I parked in their lot so that my 3 year old could ride her scooter on the bike trail for a couple minutes, and the owner came over and told me I couldn't park there because they were about to open in a few minutes. No big deal at all, totally understand that. I re parked down the road and let her ride around a few minutes. We popped by the ice cream shop at the time he said they were opening for some ice cream, and they were closed. I found the owner outside and asked him if they were open and he then back peddled and said they didnt actually open for a few hours. He claimed he 'didnt remember' they opened at that time because he owns another store that opens at noon, and that he was going to 'flag us down' but didnt bother. It was weird and unnecessary to tell a blatant lie to a mom and her small child. Won't be returning as a patron. I will go to dairy twirl- they are great and extremely friendly. I stopped today with my daughter, 12, on our return to our car from riding on the nearby bike path. We used the bathroom and washed our hands. The bathroom was clean and stocked well. The water was hot too. We sampled a few flavors ofhard ice cream, they have soft serve too. The gentleman working was making fresh waffle cones. The aroma was divine. My daughter decided on Galaxy Explosion, blue dyed ice cream with nerds in a waffle cone with sprinkles, two scoops, a generous portion. It was tasty but I was looking for a pick me up. I end up with an espresso bean milkshake made with 2 shots of espresso and a little bit of milk. This was not on the menu but after asking if they had cold coffee and finding out they made soft serve concoction and pour espresso over the top, I knew what I wanted. He made it perfectly. The straw was double the size of a normal straw, one Starbucks used for boba, that was unexpected but welcomed. Next time I'll get the large size it was so delicious. Used to live in cranston all my life and driven by this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try, on a freezing winter night go figure lol I was pleasantly surprised to even see an ice cream shoppe open. WOW we were floored by the amazing creamy quality ice cream and how it doesn't even melt and stays so consistent. Absolutely delicious and the owner was super friendly and patient with us while we decided. It was clean inside and normally ice cream gives my teeth a very strange/uncomfortable feeling afterwards but with this ice cream my teeth felt great and normal!!
