EDIT--Went back today and ERIC took care of us. Still unhappy with the store and other employees. Even tho they were polite they were unhelpful- ERIC was helpful. Ty Eric!!!! GameStop I'm so disappointed in you. We went into a GameStop today and there were boxes that looked like they were available for sale of the Nintendo switch. After waiting in line we were told they were not available. So we decided to get A DS 2 and multiple games for my son's birthday instead. We waited in a very long line only to find out your systems are down and you have no Back-up Plan. So after 45 minutes or so we finally had to cancel the transaction. Went elsewhere to get the game and missed out on our points. However it looks like that the three times you slept our card it did go through and put a hold on it. That was very embarrassing at our birthday dinner. But still understanding that things happen we had a little bit of cash and my other son wanted NBA 2K. So we came back in there and bought that game. We got home and found out that the game code inside the box has already been used. It was not a used video game it was brand new. We called your store for support they of course remember us because of how long we had to wait today. However your workers cannot help us and told us to call Microsoft. Read moreNever going to this store nor any GameStops again after my experience today. Went in to trade in my old PS5 due to upgrading to the pro edition. Console was very clean and kept great care of it. Arrived at this store with the PS5, all the cords, controller, and 3 games (one still sealed and never opened). The employee saw the games and immediately stated they don't accept sealed copies of any games (not sure why). Went outside to open said game and came back in and watched this same employee tapping all around my PS5 while holding it in. After about 40+ taps, the employee sets down my PS5 and proceeds to tell me he can't accept the trade. Being confused, I chuckled and asked if he was kidding in which he replied that he wasn't due to a "bug" falling out of my system. Again, me being confused I asked him what bug he was talking about. He then proceeds to show me the tiniest gnat on the counter. Asked the employee if he was still serious about taking my system due to that "bug" in which he again replied that he would not accept the trade. Didn't even bother to hook the system up to see how it worked or anything. However, he was still willing to take my games. God forbid they do the job for people that are not their buddies. Also the manager hung up on me after I tried to explain that he needs to reread the "policy" that was implemented. I would order the product online however, it states its unavailable as with every other game I look up. No other store has the game. This is the only game stop within 200 miles from my house that has it. Gamestop Crestview does do onsite payment...only thru credit cards. That's their excuse.
