I’m big fan of TEXAS ROADHOUSE. Came here to this location for the first time last night. On a Thursday night , July 11, with my best work friend, because she lives near here. I usually always get salmon, with grilled shrimp but this time I wanted to try the prime rib so when the server came, I immediately asked if they had prime rib. She said they did so I was excited to try something different! She took our drink and appetizer order and came back with bad news and said the KITCHEN said they were out of prime rib…. It was 5:25 in a THURSDAY afternoon!! That’s ok, so I ordered the filet medallions, with the portobello mushroom sauce. Our rattlesnake bites and rolls and drinks were served and were all good! My dinner arrived and it really looked and tasted good!! Then soon after, food for the table next to us arrived and I hear the expediter say” Prime Rib” and delivered their food!!!!! I was perplexed !! I asked them if they arrived before or after us, and they assured us that we were there first and I explained that I wanted prime rib and was told they were out… They felt bad for us and I said No worries, my food was good! Just wondered…. Then the very attentive served came back and when we pointed out they the table beside us had prime rib, she stumbled out some excuse about They were out, now they’re not…. and saw the manager DUSTY , and asked her to explain the situation… she tried… she said for awhile it was ‘86’ed in the computer. ( meaning they were out for AWHILE) But that she was really sorry I didn’t get the prime rib, apologies were expressed and I told her that I was happy with my filet medallions , and was just wondering…… she went on to try to explain the situations again, and tried to make amends by offering the prime rib then I said no thank you, and then offered an appetizer for the next visit and I said that I didn’t live nearby. But my friend did, so She then offered it to my friend , and she accepted! I felt fine with her attempt to rectify our situation, since I have been in management in hospitality before and know she was sincere. Things happen. But the timing was only off by about 5-10 minutes and I think that the back of the house could have done a better job of not running out so early in the day, not ‘86ing a huge seller and just saying that it might be a few extra minutes for me to get my prime rib!!! Someone did a little something wrong. Just putting it out there. I’m read and write reviews , when necessary, all over the country, since I am now a truck driver. Love Texas Roadhouse. Like I said before. This little glitch won’t get me to stop coming. I have even UBERED to different locations when I’m stopped near one and can’t drive a semi truck to one!! lol Thanks for reading! Enjoy your day and your meals! Get the cheesecake for dessert...
Read moreFood is inconsistent. They haven't cooked 1 of my 8 steaks right (chose different cuts), sending food back for a cook up usually means my husband eats alone, with my food in the kitchen, and I eat alone when it finally gets back to me. Half the time it's still wrong- Medium rare isn't hard. We go out to enjoy a meal TOGETHER- Not to eat separately. Management is very unconcerned with repeated issues. One specifically. When we usually spend 150 on average for 2 people and tip well (because service is usually good and they don't control the kitchen) We expect it to be more correct than wrong. Definitely not the case. We have come during non busy hours and the same thing happens (not that it is acceptable at any time/rush period) We expect what we order and pay for to be right..THE FIRST TIME. And to eat at the same time..cause that's why we're there..together. Latest mishap was "no cream gravy" for my chicken fried chicken/notified 20 minutes after ordering/didn't want another steak mistake so I ordered something I thought would be a guaranteed win. So I ordered salmon. Specifying ti the server AND the manager directly we wanted his fresh and out with mine. Husband's food clearly sat in the heated window while my SECOND meal was ordered and cooked....NOPE. OLD FRIES HARD BUN. Brought to us by the same manager we had stated FRESH. My husband literally picked up his bun and clicked it with force on his plate. Rock hard. She then stated ,not even kidding, " I personally saw them put a fresh patty on the bun, but you're right the bun has been exposed too long" 🤨🤨 Huh?!? So you knew it, and the fries were not fresh as should have already happened without being asked..but it was!! We asked specifically. NO EXCUSE!!!! YOU, THE MANAGER SERVED SUB PAR FOOD. The female manger on shift February 17 at 8 2025 we have delt with 3 times. She is very condescending, unapologetic, dismissive, and doesn't respect the customer. The server was great and mortified. She was tipped well, wasn't her fault. Maybe an hour and a half before close, on a Monday, with a third of the restaurant filled with customers, the focus shouldn't be closing (as was going on around us) but on the paying customers trying to support a never restaurant in our area. As avid diners, dining as a couple, sometimes taking our children, and times with large groups ..you're missing the mark over and over BIG TIME! Refreshed training on steak temps, always fresh sides, sincere management when a problem does arise, and SPEEDY replacement of wrong items should be standard . Please do better. We may try again in a...
Read moreMe and my friends went in to eat on 1/9/25 ….. ALL orders were wrong . There was a disgusting amount of onions and mushrooms on our steaks and all of our steaks were incorrect cuts and and cooked incorrectly as well . We told our waitress who then tells us she will get her manager which is an older woman ( I believe she’s Hispanic not sure ) her name was Wanda I want to say can’t remember . Whoever is the MOD on 1/9/25 closing . We told Wanda what happened and asked how she would accommodate us she says she would take ONE steak off and basically even tho we’ve all touched each steak and started cutting as well as 2 of them were the wrong cut and drenched in onions and mushrooms even considering all of this she still didn’t offer to remake our food . We went back and forth for atleast 6 min before she offered to Make out or take our plates they were already closed and we had already waited 35 min or so . ( our appetizer was left out as well ) I was trying to explain to the waitress that we aren’t upset at her but we wanted our food made correctly and or to just leave because everything was incorrect in the middle of me speaking the MOD ( shame on u ) tells me with hand gestures to stop talking to the waitress ( who I wasn’t being rude to at all ) I have never felt SO disrespected and played with . I pull out my phone to write her name down and the WAITRESS tells me “no pls don’t she just got out the hospital no seriously she’s been checking her blood pressure all night “ …… I have 1 word UNPROFESSIONAL me and my friends are mid 20s but regardless u don’t judge a book by its over we definitely would have tipped for great service . I’ve never been told to be quiet by a manager of all people . I will NOT be back and I will definitely tell people to be cautious before coming to this location I’d rather drive to fort Walton beach . Extremely disappointed . It’s now 11pm and all food places are closed but fast food . Shame on yall . your job is to provide customer service not your personal life issues . Business still has to run. 0/10 would NOT recommend also the rolls were still doughy and when we told our waitress who was a brunette with a hat on an her hair was in a ponytail sticking out the hat she told us “I had a feeling they were doughy “and rolled her eyes as if she was irritated at the cooks in the back . Be fr . If for some reason I get sick I’ll definitely be in touch...
