I'm not one of the many people that seem to be infatuated with this restaurant chain. I don't find their food to anything all that special. It's not that the food tastes bad, it is just very bland and plain to me. though. However, I USUALLY appreciate the fast and friendly service they provide both at the drive-thru, and in the lobby when dining inside. My wife, daughters, and I were looking for a quick bite (early lunch) before heading home for the day. My wife and daughters live Chick-fil-A, so that is where we decided to go. We arrived at the restaurant at about 10:23am, and it was 10:26am when we made it to the young lady that would be taking our order. As we were pulling into the parking lot, I asked my wife and daughters if they wanted breakfast food or lunch food, since we were within minutes of the shift from breakfast food to lunch food. I asked the young lady if we were okay to order lunch, as it was less than 4 minutes until 10:30am by this point. The young lady informed me that I was not able to order lunch food, as it wasn't 10:30am or later. I kindly pointed out to her that we were within minutes of "lunch hours". She again stated that she was unable to take my lunch order. She had the typical phony Chick-fil-A "my pleasure" smile on her face and tone in her voice, but the content of her words to me were so devoid of any care or compassion for the customer she was "serving". I told her "I guess I will have to just wait through this line and come back around"......which would trigger a response by anyone who cared at all about their customer. My inconvenience was no concern of hers, and I was not about to hold up the people behind me. It may sound like this was a long interaction, but it all occurred within a smaller amount of time than it takes most people to place an order. I don't post reviews often, typically they are very positive when I do take the time to leave a review. However, this is the second experience I've had at this particular Chick-fil-A location that involved very poor customer service. They got a pass last time, but they don't get a pass this time..... She saw that I had kids, she saw the time......she didn't care. Maybe she will be alerted to this review by her manager. Read moreI told the local manager that they should add a menu board before the order takers. I even called corporate. They come up to your car and take you order before you even see a menu board. It's 30 feet behind them in front of your car. Second: During this cold weather they are having employees stand outside in freezing weather just to hand you your order. What's wrong with doing like a normal drive thru and hand it to you at the window. They are subjecting the employees outside the window to extremely cold temperatures only to speed up their profits. During cold weather they should not add this extra feature. COVID is back! I expressed my concern for the employees outside because they were shaking and the manager acted like it was an insult! Go figure! I have in the past left extremely good reviews for them but I don't think their profits should out way employees health! Corporate has my name and number! Maybe they will read this!
Please, a note to the owner. Please go through your own drive through when it's busy. I am sure you know what on the menu but most people don't. Please add a menu board where people can see it before they ask what would like to order today! Also I know from reading about Chick -fil-A, you had to work at one. Please go change places with the employees getting orders from the window and handing it to the customer in the car during extremely cold weather! You will know what I am talking about! Read moreI officially quit partnering with this store as a delivery driver. I also take my family of 5 here once a week. You will no longer get weekly transactions from us now either. Tonight was horrific. At 8:10 pm, I entered the store to pick up order. Small, petite brunette team member prepared order then said, "Someone will get your drink." I thought that was a little odd. After 20 minutes and no follow up, I asked to speak with a lead or manager. As I'm speaking with lead, the girl whom I had the concern with starts mouthing off with another small, slim built brunette who was helping with drive thru. It's one thing to to affect my role/job with non schalant service, but to start mouthing off out loud while I'm speaking to the supervisor is beyond unacceptable. I've had concerns with both of these young ladies before. They probably hate me but I will call for a manager every damn time you treat me so non schalantly. I don't want compensation, but I do hope those girls get coachings. I hope the ops managers and store owner see this. You need to re-evaluate your service and take-out logistics.
