I stayed here when I went to swim with the Manatees on Crystal River, and it was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were cigarette burns in the bedding, there was unidentified splattered residue all over the microwave, fridge, and edges of the mirror, a thin coat of dust along most surfaces including all appliances, the bathtub wouldn’t drain, stains all along the floor, and a CHEWED PIECE OF GUM stuck to the outside door of the fridge! DISGUSTING! I could barely sleep thinking of how gross the room was, not to mention the balled up “pillows” stuffed with clumpy filling. I was supposed to stay two nights, but booked it out of there the next morning. Pictures below.

I'm not sure how this dump rates 3 1/2 stars on google while the Hilton garden Inn only gets 2 1/2 stars. Lies and fake reviews. Everything is dirty here. All of their exterior lights are blinking. I ask the front desk manager about it and she said they replaced some lights incorrectly. I asked when and she said "2 years ago. So this has been going on for quite some time and nobody has attempted to fix it. What a nightmare when you're trying to sleep or even just walk to your room. This place has such potential to be a super cute property it's just not maintained well at all. Spend the extra money for the Hilton It's not that much more

Well, we didn't plan ahead and everything else was booked when we were traveling through and it was a place to sleep. The outside green area is nice. The artwork in the room was pretty. The room and facility in general were basically dirty and not very well maintained but not completely awful. We've traveled a fair amount, so we've definitely seen worse. Our towels had someone else's long dark hair all over them, which grossed us out. It's a motel. Overall, if in a pinch, it's a place to stay but if you're planning ahead, look at one of the nicer options in town.

First of all, for the price of the room I was SHOCKED how friendly and helpful the staff were. Housekeeping came in like stealth cleaning ninjas and tidied up the room without us ever even seeing a cart outside. Never once had to request extra towels or anything of that sort as the room was well stocked. Of course the place has some wear and tear, the building is 30 years old and it's a budget friendly hotel. We swam in the pool which was clean save for a few leaves that had blown in as nature is prone to do. We booked 2 rooms and due to an issue on our end wound up coming down a day later than planned but the staffed ensured we still had rooms next to each other when we arrived. The hotel was heavily occupied by contractors from a well known cable company and they did some drinking and socializing in the evenings but the staff made sure their rooms were on the perimeter of the property and families were placed in the rooms at the courtyard with easy access to the pool. There is no business center but the front desk happily assisted us with anything we needed in that regard. The rooms were furnished with a mini-fridge, coffee make and microwave so snacks in the room were manageable, and Denny's is attached to the property. We were able to request a late check-out with no pushback from staff (a rare occasion I have found in my travels) and were able to grab a hot shower after swimming with the manatees before we hit the road for our next adventure. Speaking of manatees, I do NOT recommend using "Sea Daddy's Adventures N Diving" that is a few miles down the road. Other than our poor experience with the manatee trip I have to say I am in LOVE with Crystal River. It has a small town feel and hospitality with some amazing activities nearby. Stop in at the Military Surplus store and the Crystal River Museum while you are in town. We can't wait to come...

This place has the worst internet I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. I travel for work so I bring my entertainment and work with me to each new place, which requires me to use the internet they have available. You can’t play your game here. Connecting a console or pc to this hotels WiFi will have you raging left and right. Not only is it laggy but the internet just cuts out randomly so it’s hit or miss if you even are able to get in the game let alone STAY in the game. I bring my fire stick with me as well so I do t ah e to deal with ads or cable in general. Coming here I should’ve just left it at home because I can’t watch a single show through to the end without it buffering 25 times, cutting out completely 3 times, and just not Loding the movie or title screen. It’s absolutely ridiculous in this day and age to have such horrible WiFi when people’s livelihood and enjoyment come straight from the internet. Do better. Spend the extra money and get better WiFi AND get those WiFi extenders too so the whole complex can actually have WiFi. I’ve been cursing this place from day 1 since I can’t play my game or watch one of my shows after a...

So awesome and understanding , as we all have had our lives turned upside down from hurricane Helene while I was on a cruise , Karen was so amazing to me as well as the man that works the second shift I believe he is so friendly and let me shed some tears , as I'm working non stop from what we had lost and we did get a place that is out of the high flood area , this is the one place I know I can go to enjoy my goodnight sleep , and just enjoy speaking to others about there situation we all need someone to learn on in the times that are so hard , yet days inn has put a real smile on my face , for that was hard after I had returned home after Helene had hit on a Monday from our first ever cruise , so the devastation is by far something you could even imagine as we pulled up to our home after a 10 day vacation my dog waa at his first ever doggy day care , his heart was broke yet he has peep im his step now . Thank you for being there Karen when I needed the Days inn the most as I continue my stay till January I feel so very blessed thanks to the hospitality I...
