Shop Around the Corner — Attraction in Cullman

I can't speak more highly of not only this business but the owners and employees that are just above and beyond what you would hope for! I have known them for 16 years. My son basically grew up there in their after school program from 1st grade on and he's now 22! I really wanted him have an art background and at the time the elementary school didn't have an art program so I was so thankful for the art lessons and the wonderful guidance this program and the staff provided. Being a single mother and wanting the best for my son, I could not have asked for a better opportunity than what the shop around the corner provided for him all his years of being under their care. Thank you so much for being such an important part of his growing into the wonderful young man...

Went here to pick up a friend's child from extended day program. I was SERIOUSLY concerned about lack of caring. When I came in there wasn't anyone in the entrance room. I walked in and wandered around freely, not seeing any supervising adults. I went to the room where the children were playing and picked up the child I was there to pick up. There was a lady sitting at a table reading, she barely looked at me when I came in and never asked who I was or what I was doing there! I walked out with friend's child without anyone questioning if I were supposed to be taking this child with me or not! The extended day program here is, in my opinion, not a safe or secure place to leave a child. I DO NOT recommend...

My family has had a lot of experience with the Art Shop and all of it has been positive. My girls did the homeschool art class for a while, and I took art lessons. My oldest even worked in the after school program for her first job.

Mrs. Pam is an excellent instructor who truly excels in both creating and teaching. She genuinely loves the children entrusted to her, and we greatly value the many ways she's positively influenced our family.
