Guthrie’s of Cullman — Restaurant in Cullman

I have to give Guthrie's in Cullman, AL major props. I slipped out of church, Sunday morning, to go get 100 chicken fingers for a gentleman's 90th party which was immediately following the morning service. The very nice and helpful girls at Guthrie's said they could have them ready in 30 minutes, which was cutting it close, but there was no other option. They had them ready in about 20 minutes and even toted them out to the car for me. I was able to get back to church with these delicious chicken fingers and get them to the fellowship hall just as church was about to dismiss. Perfect timing, thanks to the great folks at Guthrie's. Worse location I’ve ever visited. The employees are lazy & the manager isn’t any better. For the price you would think they’ll serve their customers fresh food however, that wasn't the case for me. I requested a refund because I refused to wait any longer than I had already waited. The manager had an serious attitude problem bc i didn’t want to accept the food or have then remake it. I simply wanted a refund for my order but he only refunded me for the food and not the soda that I no longer wanted. The soda should have been courtesy due to the terrible customer service and unprofessional attitude. I’ll never visit this...

We ordered two boxes of chicken fingers, which were close to $10 per box. The quantity of food was definitely a fair amount. The Cole slaw was good. The fries were fair. The chicken did not seem like it was overcooked, but the breading seemed a little dark. It had a burnt taste that lingered in the mouth. My wife felt the same about hers.
