Editing my previous 5 star review down to 1 star. I have had great experiences every time we have bought a car or just shopped for cars here.
Unfortunately I ran into a huge issue with their service department. My 2020 Ranger was displaying some shifting issues so I had them take a look while it was still under warranty. They discovered it needed a rebuild and had it for almost 5 weeks for a transmission rebuild. Upon receipt of the repaired vehicle, I discovered on their service documents they had left multiple vulnerable transmission components unreplaced. These components had TSBs from Ford assigned for them to be replaced since they were failure points that lead to complete transmission failure. They also ignored an internal Ford bulletin (EFC 16379) that directed that transmissions brought in be replaced with transmissions new from Ford if they needed to be opened up.
After driving for a bit I did not like how the transmission felt and also was not confident it wasn't going to fail. I waited a few weeks, never driving more than 30 minutes away from home and never with our new kid in the car. I took it in for inspection at Mike Maroone Ford in Longmont. They dropped the transmission pan and immediately found metal shavings. I was then notified Ford had approved a brand new transmission, and they will have it done in less than a week of dropping it off.
Interstate Ford was not interested in investigating my concerns, I never even heard back from the General Manager. The Service Manager talked us in circles to get us out of their office, talking absolute nonsense about the parts they found at fault.
Unfortunately I can now no longer recommend this dealership to family, friends, or strangers on...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience working with Daniel Snider at Interstate Ford! After spending the morning car shopping at a few other dealerships, I stopped into Interstate Ford by myself, just interested to see if there was a Bronco Sport that I could take a look at. Daniel took my inquiry seriously and helped show me the Badlands model they had in the showroom. He was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the car and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I appreciate that he let me test drive the car on my own, as many other dealerships don't allow that, but I believe that having time alone with the car is critical to making a purchase decision.
Daniel was extremely professional and kind. He helped me move to each next step of the deal in a very relaxed and non-aggressive way. I especially appreciate his transparency about the value and potential competition over the car. He also showed me what my options would look like if I chose not to purchase this particular vehicle, but if I wanted to place a special order instead. Having all of these facts and insights helped to solidify my judgement that this was a great vehicle being offered at a fair price. The fact that Interstate Ford offers vehicles at the MSRP price without any extra fees or surcharges made a huge difference to me.
When Interstate Ford assessed my trade-in vehicle, I thought they offered me a very fair price that was well aligned with the KBB value. This helped to seal the deal for me.
The whole process was extremely smooth and easy. I never thought I would initiate a car deal on my own, but Daniel made me feel very comfortable with each step. When my husband and my family came to join me at the dealership a few hours later, everyone was so impressed by both the car and the service. I feel like I made a great decision on my new Bronco...
Read moreWould give 0 stars if I could. I took my car in two weeks ago for an oil change and tire rotation. Once I got my car back, my steering wheel would shake at higher speeds. Called the dealership, brought my car back in. They said the tires need to be balanced. I was curious as to why it wasn’t done during my tire rotation as that seems like basic safety? Jenna let me know that they don’t have time to do balances on every tire rotation. They only do it if requested and it’s $39.99. But none of this was brought to my attention when I brought my car in for the oil change. Jenna then continued to speak to my mother over the phone like she was stupid for asking questions on why customers safety does not come first when working on cars but rather “if they have time”. I asked my brother so go inside and get my car for me as I had felt taken advantage of at this point. My brother walked in and said he was picking up the eco sport. They tried to charge him $79.99!!! When he asked what the extra charge was for, Jenna was unable to explain it. She also just gave him the keys to my car, without verifying anything about who he is, (he was not with me when I dropped my car off) how do I know someone else can’t just walk in and say ”I’m here for this car” and then get the keys? When my brother told her it’s unethical to take advantage of someone who is not well versed in car maintenance or service, she said “we don’t have time to help everyone that doesn’t understand” as if that isn’t her job? I’d also like to add I brought my escape here years prior with one issue and over the course of 6 months of bringing it back and forth to them, they kept breaking more parts and eventually the car was unable to pass emissions, making me buy the eco sport in the...
