Ferguson Park — Attraction in Dallas

Pros: the splash pad itself and the picnic table/shade area is clean. The shade area has tons of space for parents to sit and I'd say a solid 97 percent of the splash pad is functional so the kids have lots of options for play. Cons: there's trash all over the grass areas surrounding the splash pad and the portapotty desperately needs servicing (but honestly what else does one expect from something managed by the city 🥴). just arrived for my first time to the splash pad, the website, and Google maps say that it is open and operational. On arrival, the sprayers were not going, understandable as there was no one there. There is absolutely nowhere that I could locate to turn the sprinklers on. And any phone numbers listed resulted in nobody answering. No instructions anywhere website or Dallas parks and recreation. This part has lots of places for kids to play they have excellent splash park there is places to play tennis it's very clean it's a very very nice park I recommend taking your kids too if possible it's open there's not far from places you can go eat so it's got pokestops but it's a good place to stay...
