White Rock Lake Parking — Attraction in Dallas

While I did enjoy the nature and scenics this place offers, I find this park overrated. It is nice place to go if you plan on being there to walk on a 5 mile loop around the lake. It was hard for me to pick a spot to park, but I parked at this location as it looked promising.

Like others may have said, there are a lot of trash over here with unpleasant scents. The only place with lights on is the bridge parallel to Mockingbird. You’ll see a lot of fishers there with loud car driven by. Perhaps there are better places to see throughout...

This parking lot is near the North End of the lake. It's a long wooden bridge begins to turn toward the dog park. It looks across to the Marina where the sailboats are docked. There are good views both North and South. You can see all the way to the bridge at Mockingbird that crosses the lake . There are some lovely houses across the street. White Rock Lake Park is a fantastic spot for runners and joggers! The paved path encircling the lake offers stunning views and a variety of distances. I love the rolling hills and the chance to see wildlife along the way. The park is well-maintained with plenty of parking and restrooms.
